The location is very private with some of the best views of any campsite we have been to- looking SW towards Port Wakefield and the cropping area west of Clare and it’s so close to the Seven Hills wine region. The free firewood and provision of fire pit was really appreciated.

Moss Rock
We had the best stay at Seven Sister and the Moss Rock campsite was just what we were looking for. We were a group of two families both with 15ft hybrid vans and we had plenty of space for both vans and for the kids to play. They loved exploring the property, spotting the kangaroos and sheep and collecting sticks for the fire. The location is perfect for exploring Clare and local wineries but more than anything the view and serenity for the campsite is indescribable. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Site 2 and had a fantastic experience. The scenery was excellent, with beautiful views and amazing sunsets each evening. There was plenty of space between sites, which made it feel peaceful and private. We also really enjoyed listening to the birds throughout the day and especially in the mornings. Overall, a relaxing and scenic spot that we would happily visit again.

We love going to Seven Sisters- Moss Rocks camp site. It is always a pleasure to return to this great area. The look out and views are spectacular. Chris keeps the site pristine and clean. I would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Moss Rock in Clare. The camp had everything we needed for a peaceful night in the Clare Valley, away from the crowds.
The firepit was awesome, there was plenty of firewood, and the hilltop views at both sunset and sunrise were beautiful. We also loved seeing kangaroos around the property, which made the stay feel even more special.
The site was private, peaceful and well set up, with the added bonus of a toilet. A great spot to slow down, enjoy the views and experience the Clare Valley in a more relaxed way.
We would definitely stay again.

Road Camp 2
Recommended for the breathtaking views of mountains covered in grass and valley below. There were 4 campsites hidden from each other with total privacy. Lot of area to explore around the state. Be ready with pegs as it's bit windy and 4WD recommended due to the steep hill climb on the way out. but we had 2 non towing 2WD make it in one shot by giving it some speed.

The Old Gum Tree
The property and view is absolutely stunning but it’s very exposed to the wind/elements. Also quite a steep descent into the property, can be tricky with a van. Beautiful spot though.

We had the lovely secluded Moss Rock site which provided good protection from wind and was surrounded by beautiful trees. There were amazing views a short walk away along ridge line. Composting toilet was spotless. Communication with Chris, excellent.

Lovely views from the hill line out to the west and south from SevenHill. Open space for multiple vehicles if needed. Easy to park up.
Due to the exposed nature of the site, better for vans and hard shell camping, not ideal for tents if the weather turns.

We had a lively time at Seven Sisters-Chris our fabulous host was very responsive and accommodating.
Would recommend Seven Sisters for your time in the Clare Valley - closed to fabulous wineries and food.

Absolutely beautiful off grid camping with amazing southerly views. Maybe a bit pricey for just a field but if you get the weather, this is an amazing spot worth every cent. Loved the peace and tranquility.

Lovely private site, perfect for a weekend in Clare valley. Easy to get to, and taxi service can pick you up for wine tours. Also don’t miss the subsets, best in the valley!

Chris was a great host. We loved having use of the toilet and shower. It was really peaceful with great scenery, kids loved exploring around the campsite. A great place to unwind by the campfire and stargaze, definitely could’ve stayed longer, we hope to be back again.
