What an amazing spot! It was raining pretty much the entire time but when it wasn’t Sally was happy to show the animals to the kids and let them feed them. She was amazing. The kids enjoyed watching the farm in action and the view were brilliant. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Murray Getaway – Rain, Fire, and Fishing! We had an awesome weekend at this Hipcamp spot by the Murray. The rain didn’t bother us one bit… it actually added to the atmosphere! We fished, relaxed by the river, and had a roaring fire each night. There’s plenty of wood around if you’re up for chopping it yourself. A great, peaceful spot to unwind. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the most beautiful campsites we’ve ever been! The sound of the river flowing is so relaxing and different bird sounds and noises are calming! The ground is level and smooth so we find it easy for our camping set up. There’s a visibility between campsites but there’s a good distance between them as well! The host is friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is secured and we felt very safe! I love the massive fire pit provided which we used all day and night that kept us warm! We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could stay longer! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The convenience of the shelter when it rained, the privacy of having an exclusive site, the proximity of some great local cafes (a short drive away), and the gorgeous cows that visited at dusk, were all highlights. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone, but especially larger groups as there is space for all. Ground was flat and ideal for tent camping. Large fire pit with ample seating. Easy to find the property and instructions were clear, Thanks Bruce!

A very pretty campsite on the banks of the Kiewa River in the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Being mid May, the autumn colours from the gorgeous cottonwood trees made it quite magical. We were the only campers here and it was very peaceful, even when the cattle came for their evening visit! We appreciated Charles’ visits to make sure all was ok, top up fire wood supply and general information of the area. A sunset drive up to Eagles Nest was a highlight. Highly recommend.

Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Factory Museum, Golf Club, RSL and cinema. With the wineries of Wahgunyah and Rutherglen just over the bridge! There are sunny and shady spots but sun cannot be guaranteed all day so please bring a generator or hire ours if you need extra power.

The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. We endeavour to provide a peaceful environment, and this is generally a lovely quiet location which more than fulfils our own personal requirements for an undisturbed lifestyle, and will no doubt do so for the vast majority of campers. But we can’t guarantee it will always be completely silent during the day or at night- especially if the lambs or calves or foals are being weaned from their mothers! Ear plugs are available for light sleepers if required. And if you are an extremely noise sensitive person or someone who wants a private camping experience with no noise or neighbouring houses visible, this may not be the right spot for you (if this is you, we would recommend looking for a more remote stay on a large acreage which will provide you with a more private experience) * And while on the topic- if partying late into the night with loud music, a thumping base on your sound system and extremely raucous singing and laughter is your thing, then this is not the right camping spot for you. While we are all for socialising and having fun, if you want to party loudly into the wee hours we would suggest finding a camping spot far away from neighbouring properties where the sound doesn’t carry for miles across the land. Please be mindful of us, our neighbours and others nearby who may be trying to relax or sleep, and keep noise to a respectful level after the sun has set. Wandi Farm

Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

Located in the undulating hills 10minutes from Beechworth and 1km from the rail trail junction at Everton station which you can travel up to Beechworth, Myrtleford/Bright or Wangaratta via bike or foot. We are also 5 minutes off the great alpine road which rolls through the township of Everton which has a general store with Victoria’s best thick shakes, a great little country pub and a service station. In the area you can expect terrific access to local wineries and gourmet restaurants in the region, tourist hotspots like Beechworth, the king valley and Mt Buffalo, Bright and the snow fields are also achievable for a day trip throughout winter and the Ovens river is only a short drive with several popular swimming holes or spots to cast a line in. There are 2 campsites on the property (Ovens and King), both accessible from the main driveway and signed for your direction. 4wd are recommended in the wetter months as access is via a typical paddock track. Both campsites are leave no trace so your own WC facilities are a must with all waste taken away with you. No power available at the sites either. Fires permitted in pits provided during the appropriate periods, and you can either bring your own wood or you can purchase for a small fee. Pets are welcome, i do have a Border Collie (Errol) who is friendly and may say hello. The property is fenced but I wouldn't say "pet proof" and the main gate is left open majority of the time, so please keep an eye on your furry friends. We also have a large mob of kangaroos that visit most evenings and mornings, we don't feed them and they wont bother you either, but they are welcome.
