Beautiful spot, we stayed at Stockmans Rest which is a lovely grassed area and close to a large dam which the dogs loved. There is a flushing toilet 100m away and fire pits with wood can be supplied. Kim is an amazing host and made us feel very welcome. Close to Tolmie Tavern which has a great feed. We will definitely be back!

We enjoy our 3 nights stays at alpine breeze.
Kim was very accommodating and welcoming. The campsite very well maintained and well spaced for out privacy.
Also, our dog loved it especially swimming on the pond.
Definitely coming back soon.

We had a great time camping at Alpine breeze. Plenty of room for us and out camper trailer. Our dogs had a great time with easy access straight into the dam. Kim was a great host who helped us check in and Had firewood and rubbish facilities ready for us. Would highly recommended

My friends and I loved camping here. Kim especially was the best host we’ve encountered out of many camping trips we’ve been to. Especially with hot weather and many fire warning Kim’s concern and thoughtfulness was above and beyond any other hosts on hipcamp. My friends are looking forward to camping here again and we all recommend others to experience camping here.

Stockmans Rest
We had a lovely time at Stockman's Rest. There was a good amount of shade and privacy amongst the beautiful scenery. The sites were all clean and completely separate/private from each other. It was great swimming in the dam and the toilet + fresh filtered water was a bonus. Kim was friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful spot on the banks of main dam 1 site.
The wildlife, ducks and frogs, were a bit rowdy overnight so bring earplugs if you are bothered by that.
Kim was a great host a there when we needed him. The site was clean and facilities were well maintained.

We had an amazing time tent camping over the long weekend on Kim’s beautiful property! He was so welcoming when we arrived and had moved us to a better spot which was available - so awesome. Plenty of firewood, bins and a clean toilet close by. Nature is loud at night so pack some earplugs but other than that couldn’t have asked for anything else. We’ll be recommending this place to our mates for sure and might even come back ourselves!

We stayed for 2 night next to the dam on the property, Kim the host was very welcoming and helpful, large site, plenty of firewood provided. We have a 3.3t offroad van, wouldn't recommend going up old Tolmie Rd, it's about 10km of climbing

Loved the serenity of the place, immersed ourselves in nature and Kim was super friendly and helpful. We had a relaxing time overlooking the lake with a fire pit. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Kim's place with our camper trailer so fairly self sufficient though we had use of the toilet which was a few mins walk. The campsite was very private and peaceful and quite a distance from the other campsites. There was plenty of firewood at the property and we also got some eggs from Kim - the freshest and largest we've ever had .
We were not far from Mansfield, Mt Buller and Whitfield so got to do plenty of cycling and hiking on the trails nearby. And of course a visit to Stringybark Creek for some Ned Kelly history.

Beautiful spot, we ended up camping near the bigger dam as there were a few of us. Kim was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Kim is a fantastic host, best host I’ve come across on Hipcamp and just an all round good person!
We stayed at Stockman’s Rest, the area was huge, it had green, soft grass and heaps of flat areas to setup on. Plenty of fallen trees you can collect for fire wood, if you can’t be bothered collecting wood, you can purchase already chopped up, split wood from Kim 👌🏾
We definitely felt secluded from the other group, couldn’t see them at all! There was a toilet just 5 minute walk away, toilet was very clean and well setup with an area to wash your hands at.
There was a garden patch with plenty of veggies and flowers which was wonderful for the kids to walk around and explore in.
We loved our stay at Alpine Breeze, Stockman’s Rest camp site, we will definitely be back!

Kim was a wonderful host. He has created a beautiful and tranquil setting where nature is respected and the land is cared for with pride. His work is truly outstanding. We loved being surrounded by nature, enjoyed peaceful walks, and spent lazy days gazing out over the billabong, listening to and watching the birds in their daily routine.
Thank you for the recommendation regarding the Mountain View Hotel in Whitfield; the food there was absolutely delicious.

Kim is an amazing, welcoming host. We absolutely loved our stay at Alpine Breeze, the lakeside site.
Sites are so well taken care of, and beautifully positioned on Kim’s land, nestled in amongst beautiful gums, with fire rings, tables and chairs always nearby. We’ll be back!

I loved staying at Alpine Breeze, Kim is s a great host, he got us firewood and bins. We enjoyed the dam and some kayaking. It’s a very peaceful spot. A little pricey for similar hip camps I have stayed but maybe that was due to the Australia long weekend.
