Only 3 large campsites! Great for family groups and friends, lots of room. Kids under 5 stay free, pet friendly. North East Vic is a tourist mecca, with food and wine, lakes and rivers, cycling and markets, mountains and waterfalls. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 20 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

Cosy Site 3, best for 1 - 6 people
Had a wonderful time at site 3
We loved the time spent at the site 3 and there were no other campers so we took the maximum of it. Swimming hole was a gem since it was a hot day there. Toilet was clean and had enough water. Definitely come back again.

10/10 Camping @ The Hut
Camping at the hut was nothing short of amazing! The views from the spot are absolutely amazing for sunrise / sunset & throughout the day! The access too a portaloo is a fantastic luxury to have as well! Stewart & Gayle were extremely welcoming, friendly & more than happy to assist in making our stay the best it could be. A short drive into town and many amazing wineries in the area. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone & I will definitely be back!

Site 2 next to Fig Tree Gully
Figtree Gully delight.
We had the entire camp ground to ourselves for 4 days. Camp fires, sunsets and wildlife were fantastic. Gayle and Stewart were excellent hosts and very helpful. We loved it and will be back with friends

The weather was perfect for our camping at ‘The Hut’ campsites. The views were spectacular, it was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were gracious. Can’t wait to find the time to go there again.
