Elle is an exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful host. She kindly brought us firewood and even shared some of their homegrown beef with us, which was very much appreciated.
We’ve stayed here before and always feel very welcome. We’re already looking forward to coming back again over the Christmas holidays. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place. Very well maintained on the Murray River. Large drive through area for setting up. The host Elle is lovely. Spent 4 nights had fun canoeing and seeing the wildlife.

Elle's property is absolutely divine. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly & will definitely return! It was so peaceful and felt like you were far away from reality - our ideal kind of break. Our pooches loved it too! Very responsive and kind hosts - first time using HipCamp which was a big success.

A very well-managed and thoughtfully maintained campsite.
The host was attentive and well-prepared, making the whole stay smooth and comfortable. The site itself is clean, organized, and clearly cared for. Privacy is excellent, which makes it especially suitable for a quiet and relaxed camping experience.

RV Camping with our 3 little shihtz

Wow - what a privilege to be able to camp here for 3 nights! Elle was very responsive and met us at the gate which was very helpful. The area is massive - beautiful cool river with a lot of swimming and fishing. We all had a blast and was awesome to let our 3 shihtzus free range. Loved it - didn't want to leave and 100% will be back.

We had a great time at Elles property. The swimming hole was perfect in the warm water and having the privacy as the only group on site was perfect! Close enough to main towns but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. This is a must for anyone looking for a nice weekend away, we have already booked again!

We decided to stay an extra night as it was beautiful. Swimming and bird watching with binoculars was spectacular. The river was running and it was very restful. Found 7 wombat holes on our morning walks but no residents.

Privacy and seclusion on point.

We loved the fact that there is one camp site and one group only, this provides seclusion and privacy and if you have active dogs they can run around and occupy themselves without upsetting anyone else or the land owners livestock.
The aspect and access to the river is also very good.

Such a beautiful spot, and a privilege to be able to camp on this land. It was so private and perfect for our pup, she had an absolute ball! Elle and Mick were so helpful, wonderful hosts! I’d definitely recommend this for a private and romantic getaway, only stayed the 1 night but wish we stayed longer!

The best hip camp and we've been to a few! Situated right on the Murray River, the spot is well maintained, private and peaceful. If you are into birds, this spot will not disappoint. Directions were easy to follow and Elle, host, was lovely and so easy to deal with. Short drive to Albury/Wodonga. Cannot wait to return,

Fabulous and pristine!

Murray River Seclusion was a wonderful peaceful experience. Having not been off grid properly before we were so happy with this little piece of paradise. Elle was a delight to deal with and we loved swimming in the fresh clean river!! We also loved seeing the occasional tinny go past for their fishing adventures! We were also delighted to hear they only allow one caravan/van/camper at a time on their premises.
There is an abundance of bird life that we loved spotting and we also saw several wombat holes, and what I think was a Platypus swimming around in the river. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful spot!!! If you find yourself without supplies there is a petrol station come general store (includes beverages for the over 18's down the road on the Victorian side of the bridge!!

River charm

Great spot by the river. Quiet, peaceful and calm. If you’re in a Van, park on the shoulder of the road and walk over and open the gate first. It’s not well marked but it’s quite obvious and allows you access more easily. Plenty of room here, and lots of ways to camp.
For us this is what Hip camping is about - people sharing access to properties you otherwise wouldn’t get to see. The river is fast flowing and clean, we watched people fishing quite successfully. Close enough to Albury to be away from the hubbub and zero traffic noise. Highly recommended
