The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely.

Our beautiful piece of land is located amidst the rolling hills of the Strezlecki ranges.
The 4 acre paddock is nestled at the front of our 60acre block, which consists of a dense, temperate rainforest, and a mature pine forest.
Plenty of wildlife around, bushwalks, beautiful views into the valley, all in walking distance of the secluded campsite!
Mount Worth State Park only a 5 minute drive down the hill!

What a peaceful and cosy land, we had a very pleasant stay here! Some animals around, roaming freely, and the scenery is great. We had the larger spot, with power, and a shed where we could relax and enjoy breakfast if you want. Thank you for having us.

I have just returned from spending two peaceful nights tent camping at Milleara Gardens. From the moment I arrived I could see that it would be a great stay. The gardens are kept immaculately and the camping areas are well-signed, neatly mowed and there's plenty of space. The owner, Helen, swung by to say hello a few minutes after I arrived and we had a good chat about the terrible bushfires affecting much of Victoria. Although I came prepared to be fully self-contained, Helen offered the use of a porta-loo for a small additional charge, which I gladly accepted. I highly recommend Milleara Gardens and will definitely be making a return visit in the near future.

And we found here the ideal place, quiet, calm, we were lucky that it was not occupied; which we loved because we were looking for privacy. Helen was a wonderful, attentive and helpful host. This is a great location to explore the Nojee area from and I highly recommend the camp site and hosts. Communication from the hosts and the site were both great. Friendly chickens and turkeys are also good entertainment! Would book again.

This was a beautiful hipcamp with a lovely view out over the Gippsland Hills. We had a fantastic time staying here, their cooking facilities and facilities were lovely and clean. We couldn’t recommend more staying here especially the beautiful dog Daisy that runs around.

Great location with walking access to the jetty basically across the road. A five minute walk to the pub, marina and boat ramp.
Would definitely recommend if you’re self sufficient camping and just need a patch of flat grass👍🏻👍🏻
Site numbers on map rather random but says elsewhere to respectfully camp anywhere on the property of your choice .

Had a great stay with my friend, 2 kids & 2 dogs. The host is friendly, kind & accommodating - she squeezed us in for an extra night after we decided we wanted to stay longer!
Her border collie Hankook took a liking to the kids & got along well with my high energy/drive gun dogs, so spent a lot of time hanging out at our camp. My dogs were able to be off-lead full time as the camps are spread out along the river with space/vegetation between, as were other campers dogs if they chose to. There was also a goat on property for vegetation management that would get moved around.
For those reasons, if you have a dog-reactive dog or a dog that is too interested in livestock, this camp site won’t be suitable for you. Also note, there are ticks, so ensure your dogs are on a treatment before you visit & have a tick removal tool on hand!
The river is shallow enough to stand in across all parts (deepest spot was waist height on adult) but the current is strong.
We really enjoyed our visit & will be coming back.
