The property is 40 acres, and also is home to numerous kangaroos, wombats, possums, goannas, echidnas, lots of birds and other critters, as well as, of course, lots of horses. We are dog friendly. There is a toilet available. Good access for 2WD and caravans. Drinking water available. Campfires permitted when restrictions not in place. There are lots of attractions nearby, including top class wineries and restaurants, the Warburton walking trail, fantastic mountain bike trails, the Redwood Forest, Kirth Kiln State Park, Bunyip State Park, Mt Donna Buang and the lookout, Ship Rock Falls, 7-acre Rock, Noojee Pub, Cunninghams Pub, Wesburn Pub and Wesburn RSL. Then there are the lovely old towns of Warburton and Healesville, Healesville Sanctuary, Rayners Orchard, the Lotus Gardens in Wesburn, swimming in the Yarra River....the list goes on.

Mountain Mineral Spring is a neighboring farm with Fowkes Family Farm ( King Proteas), New Owners Richard and Mai with Host Tamara (Fowkes Farm) are working together to offer this beautiful site for Off grid stays. - These sites do not have a toilet. No power or water tap. But there is a spring to collect running water. This site has easy access to drive in with plenty of space to turn around. 2 different flat areas to choose from to set up. This property has two sites that can be booked, two different listings - (see Fowkes family flower farm for other listing) Only a 20-minute walk to the town of Kinglake and a minute drive. This site offers plenty of open space to safely have a campfire. Plenty of fallen branches and trees to cut up for firewood. Or purchase wood from the local food works, closing at 7pm OR the servo closing at 9pm. This site is on a 105-acre farm, with a private spring water swimming hole, water can be collected from the running water spring. The farm is home to a mob of kangaroos, please watch from a distance. You will also spot and hear wild deer. The site does have plenty of grassed area, but we will let you know there is a bit of black berry bushes that we will start removing over time. (This area we cannot use chemicals close to the water ways.) We have 2 goats Eve & Rain to help with the weeds and greeting our guests. This site has a lot of history from bottling water from the old factory, (no longer in use), Potatoe and berry farming and raising sheep. You will feel so relaxed in a private and tranquil site. We manage 2 sites on this farm and 2 sites on the neighboring farm. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Whittlesea market is on every Monday 9am - 1pm *You will have access to Fowkes Family Farm to purchase and pick flowers and come along to feed the sheep.
