Krystal Waters

3 sites · RVs, Tents26 acres · San Remo, VIC
Located on Phillip Island Road just before the town of San Remo and the bridge to Phillip Island. The property is 26 acres with beach frontage to Western Port Bay and views of French Island. The land has been used for pasture, mostly for cattle, with a large dam wall which at one time had a small gauge train track on top running to the old port of San Remo. These days the property is used as a hobby farm with a few cattle, a vegetable garden, some fruit trees, and replanting of native trees. We offer three RV/tent sites on the property, with our caretaker also residing onsite. While the sites ensure privacy, guests may encounter others during their stay since restroom facilities are shared among all campers. There is 1 shower with hot water and 1 flushing toilet. Site 1 stands apart from the other two sites, equipped with both power and water. Sites 2 and 3 are situated 20 meters apart, however, guests can spread out more if they do not need power. We're currently in the process of expanding our property, constructing several new sheds. As a result, you might notice building materials on-site. We've made every effort to separate these materials from the campsites and keep them out of the way. Our site is on a very busy main road and is easy to miss if you’re driving fast. I have a big sign on our gate but you may need to slow down in order to see it! The GPS should guide you right to the property. Please note, because of our elevated location the winds can be strong at times - but the views make it worth it in our opinion!

Field Phillip Island

8 sites · RVs7 acres · Ventnor, VIC
Field Phillip Island is a 7 acre working farm within walking distance to one of the Island's best beaches and Phillip Island Winery. We are located 6 minutes from the Penguin Parade and 15 minutes from Cowes. We are trialling one campsite. We farm Trees and Bees and share a passion for all things connected with nature on Phillip Island. This winter we planted over 1, 200 trees and have plans to plant another 4,500 trees next winter. Our 5 acre field is flat and filled with wildlife. We offer one Campsite on our field to ensure your privacy and to provide you with a place to rest. The ocean can often be heard from the property. Watch the sunrise or sunset from your own piece of paradise! Access to the field is easy and you can come and go as you please but we do prefer that, for the safety of guests and our wildlife, you are at your campsite before last light. We have resident populations of Wallabies, Cape Barron Geese, Eastern Bard Bandicoots, Brush Tailed Possums, Pobblebonk Frogs, Crickets and a pair of beautiful Wedge Tailed Eagles. Berry's Beach is an easy walk from your campsite and it offers an amazing beach and ocean environment. Berry's beach clifftop walks provide an ideal location for a sunset stroll and perhaps, to spot Mutton Birds or even a Whale or two. If entering the ocean is your thing fishing, snorkelling, shipwrecks, kayaking, rock pooling, surfing, sailing and sun baking are all there, or at beaches nearby. If food and wine is more your thing then Phillip Island Winery is only 800 paces away! We look forward to sharing this wonderful piece of paradise with you. Kind regards, Gaz and Kaz.

San Remo has a number of café and restaurant options and the Bass coast has a number of beautiful walking and bike riding trails all within easy reach. Five years ago we set out to find acreage because we were relocating a spectacular house. The property had to suit our future Home. We always loved the Bass Coast, many treasured childhood memories of Phillip Island and surrounds. So we found this lovely property by a miracle and decided to move to Bass - 5 years later here we are. This area is rich in Australian history, beautiful beaches, undulating hills, wildlife, the list goes on. A great lifestyle for the whole family. We are literally a living proof, with 3 generations living under one roof. We would love to share this experience with others. Our large, grassy sites are the perfect place to set up camp after a day of exploring and to enjoy the ambiance and the serenity of the starlit sky. You might be lucky enough to spot a shooting star.Seasonal farm fresh produce can be made available. Try some of our delicious Free Range Eggs, Pure Aussie Honey, and our local Dairy produce. If you'd like us to Pre order a BBQ pack from our local butchers, just give us 24 hours notice. Other essentials are available at our store.Due to restrictions in the area, we are unfortunately unable to allow fires at this time.Anything else we haven't covered, just ask your hosts Desmond & Barbara.

Banksia Park Estate

4 sites · RVs32 acres · Newhaven, VIC
In addition to the existing small number of accommodation suites, Banksia Park Estate is now offering camping sites, scattered around the property for self-contained caravans and campervans. A great way to get amongst the gum trees and ti-trees, to sit back and relax with the amazing views. Take the time to experience Phillip Island and surrounds! Banksia Park Estate is in Newhaven, Phillip Island and is the perfect rural getaway! The property has you feeling like you are far away from civilisation, yet you are so close to all that Phillip Island has to offer. We are within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, playgrounds and The Phillip Island Chocolate Factory. A leisurely walk will take you over the bridge to the picturesque seaside village of San Remo, or a short drive to popular surf and swimming beaches and all other attractions on the Island. The property is nestled on 32 acres of a natural rural landscape of trees, wetlands with Westernport Bay and Churchill Island views unique to Banksia Park’s location. Banksia Park Estate is enriched with local history from the traditional owners of this land, the Bunurong / Boonwurrung people and the early settlers. Venture down through the trees to get a sense of what it would have been like for the Yallok Bulluk, as you experience the serenity of the untouched wetlands and see all of the native wild life at play. The chicory kiln at the entrance is known as the “Bern Denham kiln”. Bern Denham was one of the three original entrepreneurs in the 1920s who were the first to take tourists by torchlight to see the little penguins’ nightly arrival on the beach. Not to mention he was an influential contributor in getting the Phillip Island racetrack built and up and running. Please Note: that our property and all sites do not have any power, water or toilet facilities. Understanding that you may not need the amenities over night, but if you did by chance, with us being a rural property and an abundance of wildlife, we'd prefer guests not to use the trees as a bathroom. Therefore, you will need to be completely self – contained in a caravan, campervan or roof top tent set up. We actually can not offer Tent Sites (Tents, Swags, sleeping in cars etc) and reserve the right to decline the booking on arrival if your set up does not meet the requirements. We unfortunately need to state this upfront due to some of our previous guests, so if you can confirm your set up as being a caravan/campervan etc for your stay and that you have your own toilet as a minimum, we will be able to accept your booking. We would also like to let you know that our check - in on the day of arrival is between 2.00pm - 5.00pm and we will need an estimated time of arrival. That way we can make arrangements to be on-site to check you in. If needed, late check in within daylight hours can be arranged subject to our availability.
