Absolute amazing place by the dam. Jumped in for a swim with the dog!

Fantastic place to stay over the long weekend. It was peaceful and relaxing. The trees surrounding the site provided ample privacy from the neighboring camp site. Lots of ground wood available to pickup and use in the fire pit. Will definitely return to stay again.

Flat bush clearing
We had a wonderful stay at Kookaburra Estate. The perfect place for us to spend the long weekend. The kids had fun with plenty of space for ball games and so close to Gumbaya World for the perfect day trip.
We had clear skies so we were able to use the telescope to see Saturn, and we got an incredible thunderstorm overnight one night too. We could see other campers in the distance but it was never an issue. Thanks for a great stay Leanne and Maurice! We look forward to staying again one day!

Camping at Ben's Place was just what we needed. A quick weekend break not to far away but far enough to be so relaxing.
Next time we would BYO wood for the campfire as what we paid for was very disappointing.

We loved Wombat Grove, Peaceful secluded area where we relaxed listening to all the birds. The kookaburras came to visit every morning and late afternoon. My wife and I are regular farm stay users, and this stay was only 16KM from us and we absolutely loved it.

Great location, Leanne was an incredible host, met us in arrival and showed us to our campsite. Stayed at the rocks, managed to see some kangaroos and horses which made the stay more special. Highly recommend for a trip that is not too far from Melbourne but feels as such.

We loved the camping, their block of land was beautifully kept. We sat in our chairs and saw 10 different birds and listened to the birds in the afternoon. The camp fire was superb and both Friday and Saturday night had a gorgeous fire. We purchased extra wood off Leanne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kookaburra Estate Hobby Farm with our 2 doggies. We arrived later than expected and Leanne took the time to guide us to our site and made sure we parked up ok. The spot we were in was beautiful and peaceful with plenty of room to spread out. There were other campers staying in other spots but you wouldn’t know they were there unless you went for a walk around the property. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend away and will definitely return in the future with a bigger group of friends. Thank you Leanne for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful property!

Big Dam
The Big Dam campsite was beautiful, peaceful and private. There's an aqueduct walk on the edge of the campsite which is a lovely walk - you occasionally see a walker on the track going past the campsite but this didn't bother us. Excellent communication from Maurice and Leanne, with easy instructions to access the property. We will definitely be back! And Charlie the dog gave a warm welcome, such a beautiful dog. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

beautiful spot well shaded amongst the big eucalyptus, plenty of animals around, lots of birds chattering through the day and the frogs going all night, absolutely loved it. Campsites are maintained very well and Leanne is a great host and very helpful.

Such a lovely and convenient campsite being not far from Melb. It definitely lived up to its name as we saw and heard many kookaburra’s during our short weekend getaway in our new hybrid van. Lots of beautiful and diverse bird life besides the kookaburras too. Very peaceful bush setting. We had a very relaxing time and would definitely visit again. Thanks Leanne and Maurice.
