We had an a great time at Hidden Creek farm. The kids had so much fun at the playground, going for walks down to the creek, riding their bikes around etc. Such a perfect spot to set up and relax for the weekend! Janita and her family (Mary the dog included) are really lovely and welcoming! We loved the little convenience store as well, so cute and handy! Highly reccomend

My sister and I camped at Grey Gums in tents with our toddlers and teens! It was a beautiful spot, plenty of room for everyone to space out and still have room to play! The scenery is absolutely stunning! Theres a beautiful creek with amazing mountain views. With horses and Daisy the cow behind you! Dean was an absolutely gem, he entertained our little ones with feeding the chickens and turkey! Kaylea was so wonderful with our toddlers and walking them around for pony rides! They are amazing hosts, helped us with local spots to go and anything we needed! Yabba Creek Farm is an unbeatable hidden gem, was the perfect spot for our toddlers first camping trip, we will definitely be going back again!

Fantastic off grid cam for those looking to disconnect and stare at the camp fire in absolute serenity. Great amenities, farm animals to feed and park for the kids too! Very cute and convenient store with affordable essentials. Little to no service but we loved that!

Hopevale Valley was an awesome experience. Overall the views and the campsites were beautiful and amazing. Jason (the host) was a great host, answering any questions and had some good banter with him as well. The hikes and views were definitely the highlight of the campsite. The Owners couldn't be more helpful, very warm and welcoming. Big open camp-sites with portable fire pits supplied, surrounded by beautiful natural bushland. We enjoyed the many walking tracks through the rainforest down to the creek for a swim in the lagoon and a paddle in the kayaks supplied. Saratoga, bass, silver perch and catfish on offer for the keen Angler. Great for young kids with a playground and animals. We loved it and will be back.

This quiet little campground is a hidden gem! We were blown away by the gorgeous setting amongst the trees, with a short, pleasant walk down to a creek. The campsites are perfect – spacious and not cramped at all, offering plenty of room to spread out. It has all the essentials you need, including showers and toilets, which were well-maintained. Upon arriving, the beautiful collie Mary will show you the way to your campsite and then she will be back to check on you during your stay. She is the true owner of the farm! What really made our stay special were the owners, Alex and Janita. They were absolutely the best hosts, sharing stories about the area and the farm over a beer while burning out a stump. Our daughter even became best friends with their little boy, Flynn, which made the experience even more memorable. We'll definitely be back and making this our go-to spot for quiet weekend getaways. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to camp, this is it!

We loved our stay at Hidden Creek Farm. Flynn’s camp was the perfect bush camp with easy access to toilets and showers. Lots of space for the kids to run and play. Caught a good feed of freshwater prawns out of the creek. The off leash dog area and small convince store is a really nice touch. Highly recommend this stay.

We loved camping at Hidden Creek Farm and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is a great spot for a quiet break with a choice of well maintained camping areas. We chose Fraser’s Field with plenty of open area, so the sunshine could top up our solar, but Flynn’s Camp closer to the creek is a beautiful and secluded shady area. The sweet farm animals and Mary the border collie were an extra bonus. It was great to have access to a tiny onsite shop for essentials and firewood, and the basic amenities were very clean. We didn’t get a clear night sky, but I imagine the stars would be wonderful at night.

We are surrounded by mountains and the Imbil forestry is at the top of our valley. We are only 45 minutes to Noosa, 20 minutes to the Amamoor Country Music Muster, only 1 km to Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, 15 minutes to Borumba Dam. We own a working Dairy Farm, the next property on from the camping site. Opposite the camping grounds we plant summer feed (White Sorghum Silage) and Winter feed (Oats or Barley). Bring you own fire pits. All weather access road, if towing please use 4WD. Please note we do not have drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. *All guests (including children) must be added to the booking request. *Children 5 and under are free (noted in message attached to booking) *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. *Smoking discouraged for the comfort of guests. * The platypus can be sighted in the creek. There is a family of 3 friendly deer that roam our property, so keep an eye out they are beautiful. * There is fencing along the creek bank for safety for little children.

Stirling’s Crossing is situated in the Mary Valley on a lush 150 acre Equestrian property, which is bordered by the Yabba Creek and the Imbil State Forest. Our spacious level sites are surrounded by lush paddocks and beautiful scenery. Large drive-thru sites perfect for buses and big rigs, there’s plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful farm setting. Guests can also bring their horses to Stirlings Crossing as Imbil State forest is perfect for horse back trail riding. Horse yards can be set up on request. The Tom Quilty has been held here twice before and will be held here again in 2026. Other endurance events are also held here during the year. There is an extra $10 charge per horse per night. Unfortunately there are no horses available here to hire. It is just over 100km north of Brisbane. The town of Imbil is only 6km away and has a recently opened IGA with all the supplies you need. There is also a bakery, 2 coffee shops, a pub with great meals, and a well equipped petrol station. There are markets every Sunday in the Main Street. Borumba Dam is 4.5kms up the road. It is perfect for boating enthusiasts who want to fish or do various water sports. The property has a large modern ammenities block. * Ladies toilet and shower amenities x 5 * Mens toilet and shower amenities x 4 * Disabled/Family bathroom x 2 There are limited powered sites available on request. There is access to the Yabba Creek for kayaking, swimming and fishing. You can also access the Imbil State forest either by 4wd, trail bike or mountain bike. This is a breeding and training horse facility so could guests please stay away from fenced off paddocks and the large horse complex. GreyGum at Beattie Creek is a 64 Acre property a stones throw away from the centre of Kenilworth town. GreyGum is a horse property, playing host to a riding school. We have recently opened camping for horsey and non horsey people alike. With very limited camping spaces, we offer privacy, horse yards, hitching rails, a seasonal creek with swimming holes and toilets. Arena, round yard on property and off property trail riding is available at your leisure. There is spring fed dam if you wish to have a dip with your horse right on your camp sites. If you ask us how to ride to the pub or a donut, we are happy to direct you! (We like to ride to the pub for a beer!). GreyGum is a shady, lush and beautiful property with private access straight to Kenilworth state forestry trails (motorbikes and vehicles expected). To drive to camping space, you will need 4 wheel drive. In extreme weather events, we are unable to host. Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10.30 pm. Dogs are allowed, on leash at all times. All rubbish and mess must be taken with you. There are 2, spacious horse yards available, which can be split to 4 if you bring your own piggy tails and electric tape/equipment. If yards filled, there is space to set up your own pens. Horses must respect fencing. Trail rides, horse/ pony riding lessons (on our horses) and guided trails on your own horses are available if you need a guide through the extensive trails in the state forest. We are a small family run business and we live on the property. Please be respectful of us and we will happily share our beautiful property with you. Entrance to camp sight is on the KENILWORTH side of Beattie Creek, at the driveway with the GREEN BIKE. Please do not go up the steep drive on the Imbil side of Beattie creek. This drive is extremely difficult to get up with a float.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered. Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay. Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

The farm is home to more than 70 animals (All have names) including dwarf goats, cows, chickens and miniature pigs, and our guests often have the chance to see cute baby animals up close! During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Ready to explore outside the Farm? We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants. I live onsite in another area of the property, but will be available for any questions or help. Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather. There is plenty of extra kindling available for guests to collect during their walking travels in the forest. Dogs are welcome but you must pick up after them and tick protection is recommended. Our Kelpie 'CC' might even drop by for a friendly visit and pat. Address available when booking and it’s advisable not to use google maps or you’ll find yourself down a dead end road. Past visitors have gone on day trips to feed the dolphins at Tin Can Bay, gone surfing at the world famous Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach and explored the upper reaches of Noosa River Everglades and Harry's Hut. There is an 'open mic' event at the local Wolvi Hall on the first Friday of each month; family friendly with great food.
