Garry and Natalie were welcoming hosts, great spot and we will be going back for sure. Jimmy.
We love Mountain View Camping and we’ll be back again and again. The property is well maintained with lots of shade, and a short walk from a creek where the kids loved to skim rocks. We booked last minute and were greeted by friendly faces. Thanks for having us Natalie and Garry!

Site 3 - Bellbird
We had a beautiful, relaxing and memorable stay. We were incredibly lucky to have only three families on the entire grounds during our trip, which made the whole experience so peaceful and private. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down, switch off, enjoy the outdoors and simply spend some quality time around the campfire.
A special mention to Garry, who was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. He regularly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When we managed to completely run out of our firewood, Garry was kind enough to help us out with some of his own. Those little gestures of kindness really made us feel welcome and made the stay even more enjoyable.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with such a peaceful atmosphere.
We also took a quick trip into nearby Imbil, which was well worth it. And if you’re heading that way, make sure you stop at the Imbil Bakery — their famous vanilla slice is an absolute must
We loved this place. Great hosts Garry & Natalie. First time we’ve ever seen platypus. If you are self sufficient for showering or can go without this place is 10/10 in my opinion. We will be back

Site 2 - Platypus
We loved our 3 night stay at Mountain View camping. It's very spacious, lots of room between sites. The sites are cut grass which makes it soft and no dirt and dust to contend with. Dappled shade. Beautiful creek with platypus. As it's a working dairy farm, expect a bit of passing traffic, tractors etc, but that did not deter us, when it's quiet, it's SUPER quiet. We'll be back. Natalie and Gary are excellent hosts
My family and friends have been to their farm a few times and have had some memorable times there. They make everything so easy and the grandkids love watching the cows getting milked. I highly recommend mountain view with the massive campsites, flowing creek and the bonus of dogs off leash.

Great camp, stayed 2 nights in swags. Close to Brisbane. Really large camp site with heaps of room for the kids to play.
If you enjoy a nice peaceful camping experience with a good distance between yourself and fellow campers this campground is perfect. We loved it. There is a portable toilet with easy access from all campsites. The extra space on your site is also great if you have a dog with you as they have plenty of space without annoying anyone. Garry and Natalie are so nice. We loved this campground and are excited to stay here again in September when we stay here with our dog while attending Mitchell Creek Blues Festival which is easy walking distance away. Thank you for a lovely week. 😊
This has become our home away from home. Our dogs enjoy the freedom and a swim and we enjoy the birds and amazing hosts.
We stayed on Site 2 - Platypus and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Communication was great and hosts Garry and Natalie were extremely hospitable. Nothing was a worry for them. Beautiful spot and very well maintained. Could not recommend more highly and definitely one we shall return to.

I loved it here. This is only my second Hipcamp stay. I’m in my caravan off grid full time so it was a nice introduction to the life. Such a beautiful location. The creek was ethereal, truly beautiful.
I stayed in Bellbird but all of the camp sites are close together but super roomy. Lots of flat spots around. Lots of space for the dogs to run around of leash which was great to find out my rescue girl has no recall 🫣 The owners are around and people deliver firewood and check the toilet most days. I would definitely stay here again. I loved it. Such lush green grass as well. I was enjoying walking around barefoot until a bindi got me 😭 I would happily stay on any site next time. Barefoot in mind there are lots of trees so make sure you park where the sun will reach your solar panels, also my starlink wasn’t very happy in one spot and there is minimal phone service with Vodafone. There are no bins but there are bins in the town at the free camp a few mins drive into town. There is a IGA in Imbil that around 15’kms down a dirt road through a beautiful forestry. There are no showers and no water so make sure you come prepared with enough water. Thanks so much Garry and Natalie, the apple pie and custard was Devine. Your property is stunning. When we are back on the Sunshine Coast visiting family and doing life admin, Mountain View has become like our home away from home. I think we could almost take up semi permanent residency 🤣 amazing hosts, love the quiet, the platypus and closeness to towns when you need supplies. There’s nothing more to make this place 10/10.
My second visit to this peaceful and kscenic Mountain View Camping. I stayed at site 2 - Platypus. Garry and Natalie are friendly and very accommodating. The toilet was cleaned and stocked regularly . I'll be back.

This is one of our favourite places to get away for a quick weekend. This place never fails to impress us, with the quiet tranquillity, lovely view and the platypus in the creek. Gary is always out and about making sure everyone is ok. There are only five sites and you have so much space so you are not encroaching on your neighbours. Would highly recommend Mountain View.
It was a lovely location and well kept camp site. Great to be able to have my dog at the campsite.
Maybe a second port-a-loo would be good and more fire wood. Otherwise a lovely stay. Thankyou
There’s a reason why we keep coming back- relaxing, great hosts and super dog friendly. Close to heaps of small towns and the cleanest portaloo around.

Site 1 - Kookaburra
Wonderful place to stay! Sites are very spacious with lots of trees around for sunshade, grounds are very clean and the toilet is very well maintained. Campsite is easy to find as it is adjacent to the main road but the nearest stores (servo) is about 15min drive. The creek is beautiful and you can spot lots of wildlife around. Hosts Gary and Natalie are extremely kind, and keep a wonderful camping ground. Will definitely be back again!!

Stayed for 2 nights on the Bellbird site. Very quiet, peaceful and private. Sites are spread out so you don't hear your neighbours. Toilet is clean with plenty of TP. Garry came down with a few lumps of wood to top us up. No scrub turkeys anywhere. Little bit of road noise occasionally but otherwise quiet

We had the most relaxing week here.Garry and Natalie went above and beyond helping us out when we needed a hand. Lots of platypus in the creek too😀😀would definitely recommend.
