Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley.
LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access.
ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.
All camp fires must be fully extinguished with water prior to departure.

How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.

We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do.
We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate.
Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots.
We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience.
If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates.

If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip.

-Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water.
-Push bikes,
Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also.
-Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports
-Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye
-Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :)

Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly.
There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!
Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.

You can either relax or get out and about as we are located near the famous Sirromet Winery and walking distance to Mount Cotton’s popular Eastern Escarpment walking and biking trails and amazing views up at the summit of Moreton Bay and across to the Glass House mountains. Venman Bushland National Park is just up the road and offers great walking trails. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area.
Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay.
In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails.
Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions.
You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules.
Generators welcomed, to be switched off between 10pm and 7am.
Please be mindful of loud music after 10pm - please adhere to this request else you may be asked to leave.
Unfortunately, to preserve our wildlife, no pets allowed.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley.
LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access.
ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.

Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic and offers mountain bike trails, walking tracks and a BBQ area.
Moreton bay access is also close by with a short drive to either Victoria Point, Cleveland or Redland Bay.
In addition, the property has beautiful walking trails.
Campfires permitted however must be kept within the allocated fire pit and must be outside of restrictions.
You must have portable toilet and be fully self-sufficient. All waste to be removed by campers upon departure. We would like to preserve this site for all future campers so please ensure that you abide by our rules.

To ensure everyone has a peaceful experience, we kindly ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum after 10 PM.

We do not have powered sites/ cooking facilities or toilet/shower on site, however campers will enjoy a clean and well-maintained environment, we are perfect for those who appreciate rustic camping that just want to disconnect.
As we do live in the bush, you may encounter snakes, spiders, and other wildlife around the property. We encourage you to be vigilant and look around as you explore, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
For the comfort of all our guests and to preserve the natural habitat, we kindly ask that any pets that accompany you on your stay are on leash only.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the campsite.
Our son was especially excited to help take care of the animals, and we were truly grateful for how thoughtfully you even included him in collecting eggs. Thank you so much for that kindness.
After we returned home, he drew pictures of his favorite moments from the stay, and it became an unforgettable family memory for us here in Australia.
The farm is incredibly sustainable, and coming from Japan, we were genuinely impressed and inspired. Everything was clean, the site was spacious, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful.
English isn’t our first language, so there were a few moments when we didn’t fully understand the instructions. We really appreciate your patience and understanding.
We are so glad we chose to come all the way from Japan to stay here. It was truly worth it!

Sarabah did not disappoint! An amazing spot with our own private creek. Flowing stream and nice deep waterholes for swimming. Open space for the arvo cricket game and friendly cows visits were always welcome. Patrick was lovely to deal with. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back.

As a return visitor to Weefarm, it is nothing short of magical and highly inviting.
This time, my son and I returned with a number of a friends to enjoy a wonderful few days of relaxing, swimming, fishing and camping.
There was even an engagement amongst our friends to celebrate.
Huge thanks to Josh for stopping by and saying hi to the whole group.
To conclude - Weefarm is magical in everyway - I'll most certainly be back.

Loved camping at the pristine Sarabah Creek Camping! Our group of family and friends had the most relaxing week on Site 2. We enjoyed the beautiful fresh water swimming and the company of the friendly property cows. Will definitely stay again. Tom and Patrick were great hosts 🤩

We loved camping at Undullah Farm our pitch was stunning with incredible views to wake up too. Very quiet with lots of space between pitches. There are showers and toilets which were super clean and easily accessible. Can’t wait to come and stay again. Thank you so much for having us!

Something for everyone. Couples, singles, families… this is the perfect spot.
I am so impressed & will be back. Spacious, private, well maintained.
Enjoy tranquil private time at an abundance of secluded green, grassy sites or head up to the communal BYO bar, fire & mini swimming pool for a genuine yarn, with the most welcoming hosts, long time, local family property owners.
No phone coverage except in the bar area, where wi-fi is available.
We ventured in for a swim even though the creek wasn’t flowing, sandy bottom, no obvious creatures. Haha
Hot showers, plumbed toilets & port-a-loo’s available. Very clean. Depending where you set up, it could be a short drive.
Fun fact, Creek side cater for extra large groups in private areas. The land is in abundance. Amazing!
In my experience, Hip camp can be hit & miss. Creek Side exceeded expectations. Loved the fairy lights throughout the property. An unexpected surprise under the countless stars.

Absolutely the best hipcamp we've visited so far. The serenity and privacy is exactly what we look for. To camp, how we like to camp and not have to listen to 'neighbours' and their way of camping all day and night! We would love to visit again however it is extremely popular so know that might be a long way off. Thank you for sharing this beautiful peace of paradise with us all.
