Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses and goats. We have goat food for purchase on site. 🐐 The Stonesthrow Bush Camping lower sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most of these sites are suitable for 2WDs and some sites are accessible to caravans. The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by 4WD and require you to BYO sealed, chemical camping TOILET and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites however NO caravans. 🐾 Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Welcome to our little slice of paradise on the banks of the Coomera River 🌿 Tucked away on 7 beautiful acres, our property offers flat, spacious riverside camping sites surrounded by shady trees and the peaceful sounds of nature. The river wraps gently around the land, creating a calm and scenic setting perfect for switching off and slowing down. Enjoy direct swimming access to the river, bring your sense of adventure, and make use of our kayaks and floaties for a lazy drift or paddle Or bring your own. Whether you’re floating under the sun or sitting quietly with a coffee by the water, this is a place to truly unwind. Throw in a line to see what fish are biting or a crab trap. We are 30 minutes to the theme parks and about the same to the closest beaches. 10 minutes to Tamborine mountain or Canungra. The lama farm is a highlight or the many bush walking trails within 15 min will keep you busy. There is an amazing cafe/restaurant only 6 min drive for a fresh coffee too! Campfires are welcome when there is no fire ban — there’s nothing better than gathering around the flames under a starlit sky. We will supply the fire pit and when available on the property you can collect your own kindling and firewood or we have some for purchase. Our family lives on the property and loves sharing it with others. You’ll meet our five friendly mini cows, 2 lovely goats and many curious chickens — all happy to be patted and fed apples, bread and hay — plus our two dogs who call this place home. We’re also pet-friendly, just please keep your furry friends on leads at all times. Please note: • No amenities, power, or water available • Campers must be fully self-sufficient * we can supply camping mats and a table if you require it. Please message ahead of time so we can book it out for you. This is a simple, peaceful, back-to-basics camping — calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature we don’t want people partying into the wee hours, just genuine campers looking to unwind. We’re not a fancy campground — just a family wanting to share our piece of heaven with others. 💛
