Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property.
There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river.
We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area.
All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken with you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses and goats. We have goat food for purchase on site. 🐐
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping lower sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most of these sites are suitable for 2WDs and some sites are accessible to caravans.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by 4WD and require you to BYO sealed, chemical camping TOILET and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites however NO caravans.
🐾 Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers.
Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
👣 Exploration of the property is by FOOT or bicycle only. 🚲 Vehicles are NOT permitted to drive around the property except when travelling to and from designated campsite.

During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.

Our campsites are located in a rural setting with plenty of shady trees, friendly cows and mountain views close to the Fitzroy River. Relax around a campfire on a peaceful dam and listen to the kookaburras. Dip your toes into the cool water whilst sipping watching the sunset.
It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy River/Thompson Point boat ramp and pontoon. Enjoy some excellent fishing and crabbing on the river, bird watching and bush walking up the many hills. Only 1/2 hr. drive to the beaches (Emu Park and Yeppoon), National Parks (Mt Etna Caves, Mt Archer Baga, Limestone Creek), and Rockhampton (Kershaw Gardens and Rockhampton Free Zoo).
Campfires in the firepits provided on each site. Pre-cut fire wood for sale on site. Pets are welcome, however the must be kept within your allocated campsite area and supervised at all time. (Dogs are not allowed to chase livestock or native animals). Quiet genset are also allowed.
Definitely no boats to be backed into the dam for washing purposes. Fish cleaning and boat washing facilities at the solar bore near front entrance. Telstra mobile reception. TV reception with antenna. We a setup for fully self contained camping, however there is a basic bush shower/toilet available for our campers.
The dam is a pristine eco area and no soap/detergents/chemicals to used in/around it. The dam is stocked with silver perch and bass – catch and release.

The Riverside Farm Escape is a family owned cattle farm situated on the picturesque Wang Wauk River in Minimbah, Mid North Coast NSW.
Our well maintained, grassy campground and RV stop provides spectacular views of the Wang Wauk River, which flows into the magnificent Wallis Lakes.
The Riverside property spans 103 acres of rich farmland and has over 500 meters of river frontage, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, with water access to Forster / Tuncurry. A gravel boat ramp provides easy access to Wang Wauk River ideal for small boats/tinnies.
The property also boasts a beautiful dam, full of blooming lilies, a favourite for the kids to kayak and swim. Surrounding natural bushland is teeming with wildlife, including wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, and vibrant native bird species.
Access: Suitable for 2WD and 4WD vehicles
Site Options: Powered and non-powered sites available.
Non powered sites on the River front, Lily Dam and Paddock Views.
Fire Pits: Provided at all sites for cozy evenings under the stars
Firewood: Conveniently available for purchase
Pet-Friendly: Bring your furry friends (on-leash at all times) Please clean up after them.
Family-Friendly: A perfect escape for all ages
Toilets/Shower: Available for a fee ($10 per site per night) *Cold water only

River Access: Direct water frontage for kayaking, paddle boarding, and small boat launching.
Noise Policy - Quiet hours strictly 10pm - 7 am Daily. No loud music permitted.

Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play.
Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat.
We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
1 Pet per site is welcome, however, must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times.
We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dining and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs.
Children under 4 are free.

A property with amazing river access a history of great fishing and gold panning. The steep terrain adjacent the river lends itself to some fantastic scenery, the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Grab a tube and float down the river rapids, or just relax in camp listening to the sounds of nature.
We have an abundance of bird life and wild cattle roaming the property, theres so much to see and enjoy
With a small number of sites on the property you're sure to feel like the only ones in the world.
Currently access is 4WD recommended due to the steep terrain. Any towing MUST be done with a 4WD.
AWD and rear wheel drive vehicles are fine, though good idea to check with us FWD vehicles are NOT permitted. Good ground clearance is required

We tent camped for 1 night. Tony was lovely and very helpful, he answered when I called to ask a question about camping across the creek. He was very flexible and said we could camp anywhere we liked, there are no set plots. Fire pits were dotted around and there were porta-loo's. We loved the creek, it was a hot day and my daughter enjoyed playing in the water and collecting stones. The goats wondered around the camp, she enjoyed watching them and attempting to interact with them.
The only negative was the noise pollution from the road. The camp ground is wedged between 2 highways so it was pretty noisy at night, though maybe they just had some over night road works going on at the time which is why it could have been noisy. Another thing to keep in mind is that because the goats (and 2 cows which are very cute) are free to roam, there are droppings throughout the land. It's no where near that bad, so Tony must clean it up regularly, but we did step in a poo pat or two.
All in all, I'd recommend.

We loved our Father’s Day weekend trip! Loads of space in the 4wd area (there is also plenty of room for non-off-road vehicle camping)… . Lovely owners who kindly gave us some fresh eggs. Our dog enjoyed meeting the roaming goats and cattle (a first for her).
Great location as only a 10 min drive to shops/ bottleo to pick up any forgotten items and plenty to see and do around the area.
Will definitely be back - will be lovely to see the creek with running water.

Such a great spot, kudos to the fact it was such a wide open space and I could choose where I camped. The goats were amazingly cute, loved the way they came and visited randomly throughout the day. Firepits randomly spread throughout the property were a really nice touch. Thanks once again Tony! 🐐

Was a great place to stay, would definitely recommend to anyone. The goats were adorable and come up to you. The cows were absolutely stunning but stayed to themselves. The land and toilets were very clean. Everyone around was friendly and easy going. The directions to get in were very easy to follow. You get to choose where you want to stay no allocated spots which is great. Fire pits are a good size as well. Also wasn’t very hard to find sticks to use as fire wood. Will definitely be staying here again🤗

We had a great time at Warrego farms. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, they were happy that we also had reception 😀 there are also garbage bins available for your rubbish i recommend paying for the shower and water. I found the shower to be really good too.
