This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area. Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. New Outdoor Toilet is completed.... Sadly, Price rise coming from June 2026 as my pricing has been the same once 2019 other than a small one this yr. Still cheaper than other parks in the area with spectacular views available and so green out there, it’s beautiful In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer. Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) $10 pn to 6/8 sites. Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely. Bookings can be made via Hipcamp.com and more information via WikiCamp.com or call direct for enquiries or make a booking

The farm also features a fantastic communal area for fellow traveller's to meet, chat, have a few drinks, sit by the amazing fire pit (during winter months), have a BBQ. The farm features many beautiful hand raised farm animals such as, camels, cows, miniature goats, donkeys, alpacas, lambs, deer, a pig, emus, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowls, geese, rabbits, chooks and peacocks. Spend some time strolling the stunning walk trails and taking in the amazing views on the property, The sunsets are vivid and beautiful. The stars shine and sparkle bright. While staying at Sandalwood Downs we would like all visitors to understand and accept the guidelines and rules, which are in place for everybody’s happiness, comfort and safety. YOUR FAMILIES SAFELY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US: - No bikes sorry. As we are a farm we do not have bike trails or paths. The paddocks are uneven terrain with incline and decline and are not safe for riding. - No yelling or squealing in the communal / play ground area. This area is for everybody's enjoyment. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area. - Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals. -Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.pm. - No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment, -Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests. -If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues. -No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free. -You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area). -Please take away all rubbish. -No big party groups. -Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours. -Check out of campsite by 11 am please. -If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped. - Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc. -As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals. -You approach all animals at your own risk -Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc. -Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely. -You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Make sure you read and make yourself very aware of the guidelines, as your safety is very important to us. -Arrival during day light hours is a must please arrival by 6pm, for yours and our animals safety. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced towing in steep and tight off road conditions. No caravans or Hybrids, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure, max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag. Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Everything is home grown and organic. Would highly recommend checking it out, either the campground or to stay in the tiny house.

We had a wonderful stay and a really great experience overall. The environment, nature, and peaceful atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Outdoor cooking was such a lovely experience, and everything was well set up. Dan was very approachable, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. A small suggestion would be to clean gas barbecue and add a few extra lights around the area. Other than that, everything was awesome. We were very happy 😃 and would highly recommend this place just book it!

5 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

Stayed in the Tiny Home for 5 nights and Kristy and Dan have thought about absolutely everything for your time away! From the moment you drive into this place until the time you drive away, you are met with tranquility, quiet and calm. There are 10ish camping sites on the property but each is spread out quite nicely from the other campers meaning you get your own little piece of paradise for the time you are there! The tiny cottage is set up so well! Whilst there is no mains power, there is ample solar power for lights and hot water in the bathroom. The deck is absolutely amazing (where I spent most of my time) and the outdoor heated bath along the river was the most perfect way to spend the evening relaxing. For activities - cruising the rapids with a tube or stand up paddleboard (without the fin) is a MUST! Exploring the rocks and river is fun as well with an array of wildlife around. Access to the camp is through a steep dirt road so a 4WD or high clearance AWD is required. I took a Subaru Outback which nicely traveled in and out without changing any settings. Thank you Kristy and Dan for opening up your property for others to share!

I’m a camper but Habitat Noosa made this the easiest camp I’ve been on in a long time. All that is needed is provided, beds and bed linen, somewhere to stow your stuff and lock away valuables, clean bathrooms and a kitchen with a large fridge-no ice or solar mats. You’re in a melaleuca forest clearing, by the lake and gorgeous birdsong. Kangaroos and other wild life making appearances every so often.

What a fantastic place for kids! We loved our time glamping at Jila - lovely tents, comfy beds, great amenities. The team went the extra mile setting up the water slide for the kids, we had huge games of soccer on the freshly mown soccer pitch, the river was idyllic and provided hours or adventuring time in nature. Definitely take bikes, kids rode around constantly. The bbq’s and hob were handy, the showers hot, water stopped running at 1 point and the team immediately came and fixed it up. Festoon lights at night were pretty as a picture. It was all just fantastic. Can’t fault the place.

Beautiful place, absoulte gem and must be protected at all cost. The rules are basic leave the place the same or better as you found it, and be respectful. Highly recommend, the cows were friendly and their communal area is well kept with a posh portaloo and hot showers, there is also a small communal kitchen with basic appliances. We stayed in the Woody cabin which is easy 2wd access, the rest of the site is deffinalty 4wd with some steep and rough climbs.

We had the absolute best time at Eagle 🦅 Ridge. We stayed at the clamp Tent site. This provided a private stretch of the river which was just perfect. Our Jack Russell absolutely loved it. The hosts were also amazing as we requested some extra firewood and they bought it down straight away. We will certainly be back to visit Eagle 🦅 Ridge camp ground which is by far now our favourite camp site. We are both looking forward to our next trip to Eagle Ridge!!
