Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 15 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip ( at the moment the continual rain has washed some of the dip soil at the base so it is a bit d lower, low clearance vans maybe not suited) and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions and wet weather access before your stay. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we have guest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues. I have a 2wd and drive in and out multiple times per day. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with off-road tyres.
