Moreten bay Ashgrove was a great place to spend a few nights with the fam and doggo. Plenty of animals to interact with due to Guy and the fam taking in rescues. The view over the farm in the morning is great to wake up too. Instructions of where to camp and explore the property were great and last minute request for firewood was met with a prompt reply. We loved Curtain Fig Drive. It was a magical family site. The actual caravan sites (we have a 24ft caravan) was so easy to park. We even stayed attached to the car for convenience. We paid for a feed bucket and fed the many animals and it was a blast. Our granddaughter came one of the days and help feed. She fed and petted the horses. She loved it. We also walked down to the pretty creek and of course, she again had to paddle. Guy, his wife and all his kids were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower block is always clean. The only thing I would recommend is contacting Guy before you arrive. You really need to listen to the instructions of the address location. It is a little tricky. But if you do as he tells you it is simple. We give Curtains Fig Drive 5 stars.

Amazing! We camped at Red Gum Hill and it was a beautiful spot! Lovely views for sunset and could see Mt Barney and Mt Maroon in the distance. Guy was a great host ! Will definitely come back again.

We stayed at Curtain Fig Drive. The sites are good sized allowing privacy between neighbours. There are many animals roaming free on the property and our kids loved it. We paid the extra for a feed bucket which was well worth it as the kids would feed whoever came to visit our tent. Guy and his family are incredibly welcoming. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Camping here is as it should be. Our friends wanted to join but were told the camp was booked out. We were shocked at how empty it was. There was space and despite there being only 1 shower, I never saw a line up. We were not on top of each other. The free roaming animals all looked loved and well cared for. Also Guy was going to town and stopped and asked each camper if they needed anything!

We and our 2 pooches had a great time here. The site is beautifully kept and the view Devine. Watching the kangaroos and other wildlife was soothing to our souls. Highly recommend!! Thank you Roxanne for a wonderful stay❤️

Had an amazing weekend with a large group of 30 adults. Patrick and Tom were fantastic to book through and helped make organising the weekend so much easier. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

Enclosed Kids Space, very very tame sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys n geese and a jumping castle onsite which is open 9am to 2pm daily. (Note: campers can use for free) 2. Our licenced cafe onsite is open from 7am and serves delicious coffee, breakfasts, lunches, cold beer and on Friday nights - fish n chips! Got a group? We can make dinner for you with notice. Want a cold beer while the kids play in the kids space? We have it here for you. 3. Your camping area creek side is for tent camping only. The sites are a metre from the tree lined creek edged with giant granite boulders and water running most of the year. Cross the sandy creek bed by 4wd to unpack your tent and set up. Your car can be parked safely next to it. 4. Have a pop top? Then we have spaces in a more public space next to a narrow creek spot depending on your size. 5. What else? We have a shower n toilet located a short walk from your site via torch light or bring your own portable toilet. Town water is available as well. 6. Tennis court available to play on or for the kids to run on. Just book a time with us when you are here. We charge $20 an hour. Please note that we are next to a road and as such, you will have some road noise so as much as the location is highly convenient if you want absolute silence, this is not the place for you.

The property is situated at the base of MT Lion and on Lynchs creek which flows from the rainforest. There are great hiking tracks along the creek which lead you to fishing holes and swimming holes. You can also hike our property to see Border view camp spot which has beautiful and amazing views of the Border Rangers, you can see Lynchs ck and Warrazambil ck falls in the distance ,you can also look down the valley towards Kyogle and surrounds.There is also an abundance of wildlife on the hike Koala's are often about if you look up for them usually early morning or late afternoon. You will also come across our beautiful Simmental cattle on the hike they are very quite. There is also Fern gully picnic spot on the hike which is a great spot to relax or do some morning yoga at the small waterfall . Children will also find fairy homes. .Fern Gully is a very tranquil. There is a 1km of creek to explore with great fishing spots you can catch Perch ,Cat fish Mullet ,and Carp. The creek is lots of fun to kayak on. There is plenty of creek to paddle and Awesome rapids to challenge yourself. And one of our favourite things to do is fossicking you can find Quartz, Citrine and Jasper.. The Village of Wiangaree is just 4klm from the camp grounds they have great coffee and hot food and also do Friday night meals. And in walking distance of 200 meters is Ferndale Pantry which sells sourdough, eggs, chutneys, cakes and more. We are also a 10klm drive to to the Border Rangers National Park. The Campgrounds are beautifully and are situated on the creek. There are 5 spacious dispersed sites . There are fire pits available and fire wood is available for $20 a wheelbarrow full, just ask on arrival. Rubbish must be taken with you when you leave. There is no toilet, you must bring your own toilet and take home all waste. Bush toilet is not acceptable. Wiangaree have Public toilets. And no potable water. Enjoy your stay at the beautiful Scrub. Check in from 1pm till 6pm and checkout at midday. We look forward to meeting you.. Thankyou.

You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour.
