We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Look for the big red letterbox with the blue flag on the right. This spot is for people that think that they are the only ones left in the world. Once at the top, it's yours to live in peace and quiet. 56 acres of undulating hills covered with native bush land, with 10 cleared sites for you to set up camp. If you like an adventure then this mountain is for you. 2 sites called "Top of the world tent site 1 and tent site 2" are accessible by 4WD only (tent camping is advised) There is a step 19 degree road up to the penthouse summit thats at 1000ft. However if it is dry you can tow a camping trailer but only if you have a winch. If it rains the only way down is backwards tethered to trees via your winch. It's an adventure. Campers are welcome to have a campfire, there is plenty of timber on the ground that you can collect or bring your own. As long as there is no fire ban. There are some great bush walks you can enjoy, including down to the creek (about a 40 min walk). The creek is picturesque with lemon trees and peach trees along the edge while in season. There are 2 sites down at the creek called Firefly's and platypus and these are for off road self contained 4x4 campers and those with a tent. The creek is pristine and crystal clear unless it's raining. These 2 sites are absolutely private if you book them both. If you don't mind sharing the creek with another camper then you only need to book 1 site. There is also a 10 month of the year 30 metre high waterfall (depending on rain fall this waterfall can vary from massive water to slow water) and another seasonal waterfall. Don't forget the dam for swimming with the spa tub and fresh mountain spring water constantly flowing into it from an inch and a half poly pipe constantly overflowing into the dam. The water in the creek is safe to drink with no filter needed. The creek is running and crystal clear and very private. If you are in a 2 wheel drive RV/ Motorhome you can book the "Paw Paw hill site" or "a dam good view" There is one site that is all grass accessible in the dry weather. Plenty of drinking water is also available at all sites either via a tap or the creek running water. All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. If no portable toilet you can purchase one from many camping stores at a reasonable price before coming. Doing number 2 in the bush is totally unacceptable. Because this is a leave no trace camp site we do ask you to take all trash with you when you leave as well. There is no council rubbish collection in this area. We respect our beautiful paradise and we know you will appreciate it also. If you make a fire please leave it so I can mow around it once you leave. E.G Please remove all sticks.

Once at the top, it's yours to live in peace and quiet. 56 acres of undulating hills covered with native bush land, with 10 cleared sites for you to set up camp. If you like an adventure then this mountain is for you. 2 sites called "Top of the world tent site 1 and tent site 2" are accessible by 4WD only (tent camping is advised) There is a step 19 degree road up to the penthouse summit thats at 1000ft. However if it is dry you can tow a camping trailer but only if you have a winch. If it rains the only way down is backwards tethered to trees via your winch. It's an adventure. Campers are welcome to have a campfire, there is plenty of timber on the ground that you can collect or bring your own. As long as there is no fire ban. There are some great bush walks you can enjoy, including down to the creek (about a 40 min walk). The creek is picturesque with lemon trees and peach trees along the edge while in season. There are 2 sites down at the creek called Firefly's and platypus and these are for off road self contained 4x4 campers and those with a tent. The creek is pristine and crystal clear unless it's raining. These 2 sites are absolutely private if you book them both. If you don't mind sharing the creek with another camper then you only need to book 1 site. There is also a 10 month of the year 30 metre high waterfall (depending on rain fall this waterfall can vary from massive water to slow water) and another seasonal waterfall. Don't forget the dam for swimming with the spa tub and fresh mountain spring water constantly flowing into it from an inch and a half poly pipe constantly overflowing into the dam. The water in the creek is safe to drink with no filter needed. The creek is running and crystal clear and very private. If you are in a 2 wheel drive RV/ Motorhome you can book the "Paw Paw hill site" or "a dam good view" There is one site that is all grass accessible in the dry weather. Plenty of drinking water is also available at all sites either via a tap or the creek running water. All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. If no portable toilet you can purchase one from many camping stores at a reasonable price before coming. Doing number 2 in the bush is totally unacceptable. Because this is a leave no trace camp site we do ask you to take all trash with you when you leave as well. There is no council rubbish collection in this area. We respect our beautiful paradise and we know you will appreciate it also. If you make a fire please leave it so I can mow around it once you leave. E.G Please remove all sticks.

A great experience at Ginger Nut Farm! Beautiful land and trees, refreshing swims in the creek and most notably, a great sense of community and wonderful people. Perfect place if you're camping with dogs so much for them to explore. A range of cool activities were offered as well such as glow worm nature walk, basket making and body painting. The surrounding areas of Nimbin and Kyogle offer beautiful scenery for day trips and Hanging Rock Falls only 10 min drive away is well worth checking out. Definitely would recommend staying at Ginger Nut Farm, as a young(ish) female I always felt safe, comfortable and included.

Awesome stay. Absolute privacy, rolling hills, freedom without venturing too far. Even had decent 5G reception to stay in touch with the fam while away. Waterfall was dry on the waterfall site - not a big loss for us. Didn't bring much firewood and there wasn't a lot on the property nearby, so definitely bring your own. Also its a cattle farm - so the flies were bountiful. Didn't bother us but may have bothered kids/families. Bring your gazebo fly mesh, or some mesh face guards. Will be back for another boys trip soon!

Loved our 4 nights at Larapinta. The property is beautiful with great views to the mountains. What is so special is how well the sites are laid out; quite a distance apart; giving privacy, peace and quiet to sit and look at the wonderful landscape and cows roaming around. The outdoor showers are highly recommended. Hope to camp here again. Note that a 4wd is absolutely necessary

Beautiful site to camp. Good amenities and friendly staff. I would suggest if there’s rain around you have a 4wd. You will struggle to get in and out with a 2wd in the wet as it can get quite muddy. Will definitely be going back but will have a 4wd next time.

The boys have created an inclusive space accommodating both community and privacy. The powered sites are seperate from the main camp with only 2 sites available on the edge of a small gully with a beautiful leafy outlook over a dam. Closer to the river is the main camp paddock with porta-loos and a bush shower. Everything was well maintained and clean. My stay was peaceful and quiet, I was able to rest, go for long dog walks, swim and participate in a workshop. They offer activities like a glow worm night walk and occasional workshops like basket making and life drawing. Its a safe space with many lifestyles coming together free from judgement. Women travelling alone, its safe. This property is evolving and growing with conscious environmental rehabilitation. Thanks for opening and sharing your place 🙏🏼

We really enjoyed our stay at Vili’s beautiful property. The location is quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views and surrounded by national parks. Vili was a fantastic host, very welcoming and helpful, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, very clean showers and toilets, and even a sauna! A perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature and unwind. Highly recommended.

Greg and all the guys were always looking after us. The place was very beautiful, and any camping spot has an stunning view of the vale. Sunsets also amazing from up there. The only inconvenience, if it is very rainy, the track to get to the spots may get very slippery, and the bathroom is a bit far. Other than that, a good place to camp.

I loved this camp ground. Rupert has done a great job by keeping it simple yet comfortable and sustainable (full equipped kitchen, solar, and compost toilets). I also loved the policies of taking your own waste and chemical free use of the creek. Unfortunately, the first night wasn't completely peaceful because a big family decided to ignore the site's rules and party all night instead. After the Indian party the place was very peaceful, the creek is very nice and the weeds are pretty well contained. I also love the initiative of restoring the riparian vegetation along the creek. I'm a bird lover so, I couldn't pick a better spot to see plenty of species. Additionally, the views of the national park are stunning. Another aspect I can't let passing is the fact I felt safe, I was camping on my own and the fact that Rupert actively takes care of the place (without bothering anyone) made me feel comfortable, I even went to see glow worms one evening and left my tent alone for a few hours.

This campsite is absolutely incredible. The scenery is beautiful, with private access to the mountain and trails that are perfect for exploring. The creek is stunning and easily one of our favorite parts of the stay. I had read a few previous reviews mentioning that accessing the creek was quite difficult, but that wasn’t our experience at all. We had our daughter and dog with us, and we found it very easy and safe to get down to the water. The facilities honestly blew us away… wow for a campsite! There’s a kitchenette, clean bathrooms, hot showers, and pretty much everything you could possibly need. It felt more like a retreat than a typical campground. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, and the host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. A special highlight was the kookaburras. You can feed them, and the hosts even provide the food, which was such a unique and memorable experience. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special camping experience.
