Jugari Riverside Camp

We had a great stay at Jugari! Had the whole place to ourselves, Bella and Harley were great with communicating all about the sight! Perfect little spot by the river, would go again! There are a few ticks around, so make sure you have tweezers handy and check your fur babies but no complaints here! 10/10

3 Night Stay @ The Rapids

Lovely 3 night stay at The Rapids. Dogs had a great time swimming, running and chilling under the trees. Bella was great with communication and details and Harley was awesome with showing us around and telling us all about the property. There was some noise from across the river, but didn't impact our experience. Amazing property and great hosts!

We had a fantastic stay at Bella and Harley’s place. Bella and Harley are lovely, genuine hosts and have worked hard to create pleasant bush camps with a good mix of access and privacy. The Campfire Lovers site was shady and had its own private access to the river. Our girls had an amazing time floating down the river over and over. Don’t forget your inflatables! As it was a public holiday weekend the campground across the river was very busy and this did lead to some noise travelling to our site. We were glad to be on the quiet side of the river! Also there are a few ticks about so be prepared and keep an eye out for these. We really enjoyed our weekend and would love to come back again.

Bella and Harley were great hosts and showed us to the campground and gave us some fire wood! Excellent location on the river for a swim and not as cramped in as Bigriggen across the river, would 10/10 recommend.

This place was amazing! The campsite was so secluded, the river was so much fun for the kids, and me as well. Harley the host was great, showed us where to go then had a beer with us and told us about the land, we camp alot and my wife said this was one of her favourite spots, it's also now one of mine. We had a awesome fire aswell.

Nice and shady spot. A few ticks around but that is to be expected. Only suggestion would be if the owner could clear a bit better access to the water but otherwise had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect spot for a family group

This was such a great sight! We had a lovely weekend with the fam. The hosts were great and were so lovely to leave addition firewood for us. Our dog had the time of his life with plenty of room to run around and explore. The campsite was easy to access the hosts met us on the day so they could be sure we found everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back in future.

Camping Creekside at the Rapid Site

My hubby, pup and I actually ended up camping at the new site (I believe it’s called the rapids), as we had kindly requested privacy due to our pup being a little bit territorial once we set up camp. I had many questions ahead of time and Bella was AMAZING and super patient, answering all my questions. Due to the site being new and only just cleared out, there isn’t much grass there yet (I was told about this in advance)- but once it’s a bit more established it is going to be even better. The site is creek front, you fall asleep to the sound of the water which is perfection. The stars are magic. The creek does get busy, because it is shared with campers who are staying just on the other side of the creek. The nice thing is, our site was bushy so we still felt like we had lots of privacy. Harley was also incredibly kind. He brought us firewood on several occasions; he even started the fire for us the first night because we were setting up while it was getting dark. It was lovely chatting with him, and hearing about their property. Harley and Bella are both amazing humans and make you feel incredibly welcome on their property.

Camping by the creek

Great camping spot. Creek access from any camp spot which is great. The property is directly across from Big Riggen camp grounds so the noise of families and squealing children can be heard clearly. Private from other campers and plenty of fire wood to forage for. Lots of possums around too, so pack away your items and food! We will be back.

An amazing place. Harley was beyond welcoming, provided firewood and had beer with us with us into the hight. Will be making this bi-monthly trip. Bella was beautiful and communicate the while way through!! Highly recommended!!!

Peaceful, Private, and Serene

Camping at Jugari was an amazing, streamlined experience full of creating lasting memories with our little fur baby family. It started off wonderful with Bella being accommodating of our late check in, sending photos and directions to make it easy to find the site. This being reinforced further when we were showing up at 7.40pm and Harley waited around for us before his drive back home, set us up with some free firewood AND had the fire going for us already making it so much easier for our setup in the dark with one less thing to worry about. All of this on top of an incredibly peaceful riverside experience with a flat matted campground surrounded by trees and bushland creating a magical experience. Can’t recommend this enough, amazing hosts and an amazing site.

What a lovely private camp spot! We were greeted at the entrance by Harley who guided us to the site and promptly left us a generous supply of firewood too! Super friendly and helpful 😊 A beautiful little spot, plenty of space and nice areas to walk along the river. Our dog loved having a good run around and we spotted lots of little birds and a wallaby. Thanks for a great weekend

We had a fantastic time staying at Jugari Riverside!! Plenty of room with the creek close by. We were greeted on arrival and was also given free firewood! Bella and Harley were so nice and friendly and not intrusive. Love how private the campsites are which was great for our dogs to roam free within our campsite!! Hard to find that these days. Thanks so much again we will definitely be back!! Highly Recommend!!

Our experience at the Jugari campsite campsite was wonderful. We saw lots of wildlife, and the creek was lovely. Harley and Bella were very helpful, providing firewood for us everyday. The instructions to get to the campsite were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and large camp spot by the creek all to ourselves. Harley was an amazing host. So friendly and helpful. Took us to our camp spot and supplied a huge pile of firewood. We will definitely be back !

We had an excellent time. Met at the gate by Harley and shown to our camp-site of choice. Secluded by the riversidr and encircled by trees, witj plenty of wildlife, possums, bird life and a visit from a frog mouth owl. Harley explained his vision for the location as it is a developing camp site. Another couple oo. arrived then a caravan followed by two more caravans so the word is obviously getting around. Chlly evenings and mornings but plenty of firewood.provided. All made for a picturesque and enjoyable couple of nights. Thank you Bella and Harley.

Kayak camping with dogs

What a great base to explore Rathdowney and Boonah. We had a 20ft seminar offroad caravan set up with plenty of space. Harley greeted us and took us to the site and popped in each afternoon to make sure everything was well. We had more supplied firewood than we needed. Harvey is improving the sites and access to the water for kayaking and swimming. Access track is a little muddy after rain, which makes it a little exciting. Great place, great people and a great time. Thanks Cav :-)

We loved our stay at Bella and Harley’s property. They were both really easy to communicate with and were very hospitable. We stayed at the Old Music Campsite and were tucked away in a gorgeous secluded spot by the river which was flowing - strongly recommend bringing floaties! It was a perfect spot to relax and reset and we would absolutely return.

We had a group of 3 campers stay at Spooky Tree for the weekend and we all loved it. Bella and Harley were wonderful hosts providing clear directions and meeting us on arrival with free firewood waiting by the fire pit. We had close access to the creek which you can float down. It is close to the road but that never really bothered us.

Camping with Dogs

We absolutely loved the area. Beautiful scenery and terrain. It would have been very hard work setting up the camp sites but well worth it with. The river was flowing and tubing down it would have been great fun! Definitely will come back over a weekend instead of school holidays - if possible - only because it is very busy with campers on otherside of river (not their property) which triggered my dog too much. Plus sharing the river and then people from other side exploring and walking directly our past campsite which compromised our privacy. The site itself was perfect though and the hosts were lovely people.

Great place to camp, nice and private bush camping. Harley and Bella are fantastic host, easy to contact and very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of space for the kids to explore. Couple of places to access the river for a swim and to float down the rapids. Overall we had a great experience, definitely will be back.

Honestly so many good things to say about this campsite, I can see a lot happening with this place in the future. The family that runs this campsite are incredibly helpful and polite, the layout of the property has a lot of potential and incorporates a more private camping experience as you’re surrounded by a bit more bush but still reasonably close to the river.
