We also have sheep, chickens, turkeys, which the kids can feed in the afternoons. Great place to stop, and rest before Fraser Island, we are dog friendly, but must be kept on leash at all times.

I loved the serenity , some flat spots and not so flat spots . My campsite was flat enough for my camper . I think we were the only ones there and stayed one night . They are under construction so once they progress it’s going to be awesome , nice spot , lots of animals for the kids . I was lucky to have a powered site . The portaloo was clean , no showers at this point but they are going to have down the track .people very friendly and accommodating. Will return in the future . Can’t wait to see the finished product !

Weekend Trip to Harriets Rest - Creekside Camping

I liked the area we put our van , there were plenty of other places more private and closer to water for tents , but for the van the spot we chose was easy and flat . We had a great view across the mountains and it was an easy track down to pebbly beach for a refreshing swim . My husband also caught Bass and Sooty Grunter 🐟 🎣 wich were released back into the creek .

Hidden Camp was our first ever hipcamp and it was amazing. Quiet, lots of friendly ducks, donkeys, horses, chickens. Callam and Leah were super friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. Being close to the Bruce Hwy it was well positioned with lots of trees for shade, a few dams and a creek. We will also be back for sure

The property is well maintained, plenty of space, the friendly cows who stroll past, birds singing, clean creek with running water, a short walking track- perfect for morning strolls with our Spoodle. Trivia night at the Woolooga Hotel was fun or just relaxing under the gum trees and swinging on the swing - it’s just Great!

Weekend Trip to Big Rocks Bush Retreat

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere initiated by John. Lot's of room for us in the Main Camp. My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all. I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.

Weekend Trip to Big Rocks Bush Retreat

We loved staying at big rocks bush retreat. They were very accommodating and the area was just beautiful to stay. Next time. We will try out a different camp but enjoyed the one we stayed at near main camp was good to be able to bring the dogs and the bikes and have a great weekend away with family.
