What a magic property to share ! Had an amazing time here, not another camper around. Owners were doing additional works for the upcoming Easter weekend, the end result is sure to impress. The running creek was an absolute bonus to refresh. Peaceful weekend away.

This month's Hipcamp trip was to Brooyar Station (Lake View, Site 24), we stayed four nights, enjoying the entire camp ground to ourselves. When the weather cleared, we had beautiful clear skies and magical starry-nights. The property is beautiful with rolling green valleys, a lily-filled billabong buzzing with birds and frogs, a visiting eagle, kangaroos hopping by and curious cows watching on. Local adventures close by included walking part of the Kilkivan rail trail, driving dry creek backroads, finding the historic Mt Clara smelter chimney, bush tracks to Eagle Nest & Point Pure lookouts, pub lunch and great local coffee at Woolooga. With no Telstra internet and phone reception at camp, this made our stay even more enjoyable. We also had a little incident, and we can’t thank Rob and his helpers enough for jumping in and saving our van from burning to the ground! We highly recommend Brooyar Station for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed at Brooyar with our 2kids for the Australia Day long weekend and had the most wonderful time. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, our campsite was absolutely perfect overlooking the dam and we had the best time swimming in the creek and watching the cattle. The kids are already asking when we will coming back! Highly recommend staying a Brooyar.

Brooyar Station - You have arrived!

Brooyar Station is less a destination, and more so an experience. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the crystal clear creek running through the property provides a great place for the family to relax, cool off, whilst taking in the sounds of streaming water, or the variety of local fauna. The family hosts were great, meeting us on our arrival, and providing some great information about the station. The kids loved the playground, whilst exploring the beautiful areas surrounding the property. The images online do not give the lake area, and rolling hills justice, and we will be adding this Hip Camp to our favourites, and sharing to our friends and family as a great getaway. We look forward to seeing what the host family have install for Brooyar Station in the future, and can't wait to return.

What a find! Beautiful spot with gorgeous views, beautifully clean campsites which are well sign posted and easy to find, plus they a good size. Hosts were fabulous - really enjoyed our chat with both of them. A terrific experience overall. Really looking forward to returning with family to do it all over again.

Great unfortunately due to a major solar issue we could only stay one night out of four sadly. Our van lost all power the owner of the property tried to help us Solve the issue but we couldn’t solve the problem. Great people thank you for your help

Great stay at Brooyar Station. Hosts are very nice and friendly. We had creek view sites on 10 & 11, plenty of shade on 10. Well maintained sites, nice creek to cool off in. Great location to check out the area. Will definitely be back.

Couldn’t ask for any more - beautiful location, spacious well maintained sites, scenic views everywhere you look, flowing creek with deep holes for swimming and to top it off the hosts are extremely welcoming and extremely lovely people. We were also offered firewood on several occasions which was unreal. Highly recommend Brooyar and we will be returning at some stage for sure. Thank you!

A very peaceful and relaxing property with a nice creek to cool off in. Lots of space and it was enjoyable watching the cattle wondering by as well as all the great local bird life. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating and there is a great country pub nearby that has great meals.

Fabulous camp site. Lovely hosts - friendly and welcoming. Thank you for allowing guests to your property. We stayed at site 12 which was nice and flat with the morning shade overlooking the creek with some lovely breeze. When we book again we will opt for site 10 as it has mostly all day shade (hence will require portable solar panels), and I’d bring along some low beach chairs to sit in the running stream - would be bliss. A really lovely stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

Loved caravanning at Brooyar Station. Site 19 was right on the dam shore with a mostly flat spot and a fire pit. Loads of wildlife and you could see the cows roaming in distant paddocks. Nearby there was a running creek which the dog, and her hoomans, absolutely loved! Our host was kind enough to take us to feed lucerne to the pregnant cows and then a wonderful quad bike tour of the property which is awesome! No phone signal made our stay that much more enjoyable! Will definitely be going back!

The best place to camp!

This was our third weekend in a row here! We absolutely love it. Camp sites are spacious and we love going down to the creek to cool off. The kids have so much room to play. We prefer site 17 as it’s close to the play ground. The family that runs this Hipcamp are awesome too.

Brooyar Station is hands down the best Hipcamp we've ever stayed at. This was our second weekend back and we’ve already booked two more trips – it’s that good! From the moment you arrive, the peaceful atmosphere sets in. The campsites are incredibly spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, giving you plenty of room to relax and soak in the natural beauty. The whole property is immaculately maintained and feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle. One of our favourite parts is the creek – crystal clear and perfect for a refreshing swim. It's absolutely stunning and such a tranquil spot to unwind. The area is teeming with wildlife too, so whether you’re a birdwatcher or just love being surrounded by nature, there’s always something beautiful to see. What truly sets Brooyar Station apart though is the family who runs it. They are incredibly lovely, welcoming, and accommodating – you can really tell they care deeply about the land and the people who come to enjoy it. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and it's a big part of why we keep coming back. If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway with top-notch campsites and amazing hosts, look no further. Brooyar Station is a dream come true. Can’t wait for our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Brooyar Station! The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our trip was the unique experience of feeding the cows – the kids absolutely loved it! The property is stunning, with plenty of space to explore. The creeks were perfect for a dip with the kids, and the peaceful, natural surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. The campsites are spacious and well-kept, giving us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the serenity. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next trip!
