Set up your camp beside beautiful Tinana Creek, this large freshwater creek is perfect for fishing and all your favourite water activities. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that visits the property. The property is situated only 10 minutes drive from Maryborough, making it easy to explore this historic town. The peace and quiet along with the beautiful scenery added to a fantastic 5 day stay at Creekside. The campsite had lush green grass which was well maintained and a fire pit was provided. Wood was available from Owen and Wendy who were amazing hosts. Will definitely be back.

We originally booked for 1 night and stayed for 5. We camped at the Creekside camp which was a lovely grassed area with lots of space. The area was well maintained and even had a shade shelter with table and chairs. The camp is private, quiet and with a lovely outlook over the creek and a fire pit is provided. We caught numerous catfish, which was fun, and 2 quite large lungfish which we photographed and released unharmed back into the water. Owen and Wendy are lovely friendly hosts who were very accommodating after we had a booking hiccup with another site. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Wrights on the river. It's a lovely spot with a large body of water, great for water based activities & fun for the whole family. We will be going back again! It's an excellent spot for group camping, with two large caravan/tent sites side by side. If you want to ensure privacy we would recommend booking both sites, which is what we did. Owen was very welcoming & their place is very easy to find.

We loved camping at Wrights on the River. Our host Owen and Wendy were very welcoming and helpful. We camped right on the river beautiful level soft grass site with easy access to river for kayaking or just relaxing enjoying the changing waterscape with the passing of the day. Quiet, peaceful apart from the bird song and occasional moo from the cows in the next meadow. Definitely a new favourite. Thankyou Owen & Wendy AAA+++ campsite

An amazing spot on the creek. Fire pit, privacy, green grass and fishing - absolutely perfect!! We had no problems getting up and down the hill but be mindful of your vehicle's capability if towing as access to the site is quite steep.

Went there with our Hiace campervan. Great view of the pond. Had a fire. Woke up to the sound of the birds. Amazing. It was easy to find. Helpful owner and neighbour. Only thought is that I am not sure how the dirt driveway would hold up in wet weather for vans or larger. Other than that, would recommend it.

Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. Please keep in mind that the noise from the dog motel isn't a nightly occurrence, making it difficult to predict specific nights when it may be more active. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity.
