Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. Welcome to my Hipcamp! Beautiful camping area situated next to the Elliott River. 10 minutes drive to Coonarr Beach, Coonarr Wildflowers and Kinkuna National Park. Amazing Stargazing! Just a kilometer up the road from our site, you'll find a charming Dog Motel. Please keep in mind that the noise from the dog motel isn't a nightly occurrence, making it difficult to predict specific nights when it may be more active. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one. Come join me amidst the beauty of nature and let the peaceful surroundings outweigh any sporadic noises from our furry friends. Campsites can be 30m from amenities (toilet & shower). Dog friendly. Drinking water & camp kitchen available. Kangaroo are known to feed on the grass in this campsite. Perfect base for a visit to Bundaberg or an east coast trip. Great for a bigger group with different spaces and communal area.

We have plenty of open space for you to pitch your tent or park your camper/caravan. Enjoy waterfront camping with easy access for fishing or water activities and swimming; BYO fishing gear, canoes, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. Due to insurance restrictions, no motorised boats or motorbikes are permitted. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed but need to be kept on leashes, or in a secured area at your campsite, at all times. In the interest of everyone's safety and enjoyment, campfires need to be contained in fire pits provided. BYO or collect your own firewood. We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. We do not double book our sites, it is strictly 1 group at a time. Pets are welcome for a small fee of $5 per pet per booking. If you are bringing a fur baby or 2 with you please add the Pet Fee into your booking via the EXTRAS tab. You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available. Please ask on check-in. 200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps. Swimming pool available on request and children MUST be supervised.

Just 30 minutes from Woodgate Beach and an hour from Bargara and Hervey Bay beaches, our serene retreat is the perfect escape. Located only a 5-minute drive from Cordalba State Forest, you’ll have easy access to scenic walks, mountain bike trails, and horse riding adventures. There are also bush tracks leading out from the property Bundaberg is an easy 30 minute drive and Childers 15 minutes. Experience the charm of our countryside with supervised visits with our horses and Highland cows. Join us around 4:30 pm for the afternoon feed and grooming session. (Please note: The Highland Coos are away visiting a bull December and January 2025) Relax and enjoy a meal at the BBQ area, which overlooks the horse arena. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep it welcoming for everyone. In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use. If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. There is a dump site situated in Crescent St Childers Enjoy your stay and the beautiful surroundings!

Weekend Trip to Valley Views Performance Horses

Me and my mate loved staying over at the campsite even though if was only a long weekend. Too short in my opinion hahah. The campsite is well-kept and cleaned, no issues with rocks or twigs getting in the way at the main site. Came with a nice barrel campfire with heaps of fire-wood stashed near the tree. We never used it but aside they have a great little under-cover set-up with a barbecue, working fridge, a couple power-ports for anything you may need, and the amenities block is great. This campsite is great for couple day trips, to even longer stays with having the essentials you'll need. Small families and groups would go perfectly here. Love the star guest that peeps around every so often looking for some attention, Mouse is such a beautiful dog, and very soft/friendly when she pops around. The couple living at the farm are great to talk with, we enjoyed our stay a lot and do plan on making another in the future.

Great little spot, nice flat ground for pitching a tent, quiet and peaceful. The hosts were great, very accommodating and absolute life savers when we realised our car had a flat battery. The man cave with a fully functional kitchenette and the bathroom were very handy to have especially with a baby in a heatwave/storm. We would recommend to anyone staying in the area :)

Quiet relaxing time overnight, views of the kolan river are great . The lawns so well maintained for camping in a caravan no need for any mats to be layed down , powered & water (soft not hard) toilets & showers were great . A walk to the river with my dog for a swim so relaxing.

We loved our stay. The beach was so close and beautiful. Listening to the waves crash in. It is amazing to see the turtle tracks during the day along the beach after our night at the turtle centre and it was only a short walk to the centre. A very peaceful and restful stay. Unfortunately, not all areas are vape/smoke free, this was the only let down for us.
