Site-4- Lemon tea tree thicket
Lots of mosquitoes. Somehow lost place. It seems that nobody cares so much about it. But in total it’s a quiet place to stay.

Excellent location, lovely peaceful spot surrounded by trees and bird-life. The facilities are also excellent, both showers and toilets. The boat ramp (ramp road) is only a short walk away, so perfect for kayaking. Only 10 minutes drive to Coonarr Beach and a 25 minute drive to Bundaberg. As the hosts have recommended, arrive in daylight to ensure you are in the right spot, but all the facilities are easy to use even at night with automatic lighting.

Nice location to setup camp for the area - we were self contained and our site was good for solar panels, handy facilities like hot showers.

We found ourselves unexpectedly without a camp, so jumped on and found Coonar Creek Camping - only 7 minutes via an adventurous bush track. We could've gone on the normal road but thought "what the hell!"
This camp was absolutely brilliant. We had come prepared for off grid camping, so to find every need met was great. The only things we needed out of our vehicle were crockery and cutlery.
We used the BBQ, the wok burner, the new cook over the fire thingy. There was a microwave, toaster, kettle, plenty of fire wood, brilliant hot shower, flushing toilet, toilet paper, washing up stuff, pots, plans.
Our site was great, site 1 - Pandanus. Perfectly flat grassy area, met the friendly skippies that live in the area. Went for a walk down to the boat ramp, tinnies only entrance.
We made a fantastic fire with the chopped wood (very thoughtful hosts!)
Nev and Terry, we will definitely be back! Our friends joined us Saturday night and they loved it too. They will also be back!!!!

Great spot right next to Conarr Creek. Beautiful walk down to and along the waters edge.
Camp kitchen has everything you want. Plenty of firewood provided. 2 Bars of 4G signal.

Site is setup rather conveniently with amenity block and entertainment area, easy drive in-out access for most vehicles. We enoyed a peaceful 3 day stay over easter and will definetly return for another stay next time we are in the area.

Lots of relaxing, beachy vibes to recommend this place. The river is beautiful. Saw lots of friendly kangaroos. Liked it so much we came back a second time to stay.

Terry & Nevs cozy sanctuary is perfect for an escape from reality. Expect nature at its finest with a gorgeous river minutes walk from the site, cheerful rainbow lorikeets in the teas above, kangaroos popping in to say hello & a warming campfire under the stars. A well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating area & warm shower were a delight well appreciated.

Had a lovely 4 night stay. The highlight is the beautiful river accessible from the property, great for swimming, fishing and kayaking. We really liked the hot shower and well equipped kitchen. Also the location is very close to Coonarr beach which is gorgeous.

There were no staff onsite when we arrived, this may be due to our late arrival time but it did not look like the place has any staff/reception at all. We initially debated if we had the correct address.
There are no signs or directions at all, and no welcome message, so we were unsure where to park. We had to walk around to find an entrance. This may be better in the day, but no accomodations have been made to help those arriving in the dark.
Facilities are run down and not clean, the place was pitch black so phone torches needed to find the facilities, which are all unsignposted so prepare to try several doors looking for the toilet.
For $35 this place is way overpriced, and we didn't see any other camper or site manager in the whole stay

Great spot to camp, lovely amenities and had the place all to ourselves which was lovely. Just don’t drive in past the front if you’re in a non 4x4 like we did or you’ll get bogged lol. Would absolutely camp here again if we were in the area though! Thanks terry and nev

Coonarr Creek Camp is a great spot for a peaceful getaway, with the highlight being the beautiful creek area, perfect for fishing or simply relaxing by the water. The facilities and the convenience of a camp kitchen are big plus. Overall, it’s a wonderful mix of nature and convenience!

We spent a very nice night camping. Reasonable parking space, facilities include kitchen, bathroom, showers, covered space and open space to make a fire. It also has access to the river for kayaking.

Our family loved camping here, we had the whole place to ourselves. Plus there was an outdoor kitchen area which made life a little easier. It is close to Bundaberg so we could do the things we needed to do, yet far enough away that we could wake up and hear the birds in the morning. The big bonus was being able to see so many stars at night!!!
