You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. Please read the cancelation/credit policy as set and prescribed through the hipcamp platform. Powered sites with En-suite.We only take one booking at a time, so You can enjoy the space on your own or share with family and friends.Totally private, powered site with panoramic views. Ensuite with claw foot bathtub, shower, toilet and vanity. Bar fridge, fire pit, shelter with picnic table. Share the site with family and friends. Children 5 and under stay free. Children 5 to 16 are $10 per night. Can accommodate up to three tents, camper trailers or caravans.(We only accept weekly bookings during school holidays.)Happy Hut:Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside while being only 12 minutes to local beaches, Happy Hut is a unique camp site featuring a bamboo hut with wood fired oven, wood fired pizza oven, gas cooker, large fridge/ freezer, sink with running water. Fire pit. Under cover area with lounge and coffee table. The camp site also has an ensuite with hot shower, flushing toilet, and vanity. There is enough room for 3 to 4 caravans , camper trailers or tents. We only take one booking per site suitable for up to 12 people.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Conservation Camping at Maroochy

A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

At Serenity Camp we have a front paddock with an open grassy field suitable for RV, Camper, Grey Nomads or Bell tent hire. Weather permitting 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive access. All you need to do is set your yourself up. Bring your surfboard, kayak or boat and enjoy all your favourite water-sporting activities during your stay. We're centrally located, being just 10 minutes from Coolum Beach, 8 mins from the Wappa Falls; Mapleton NP swimming holes, 15 mins from Maroochydore CBD and 2 mins from the Maroochy River wetlands & 20 mins to Noosa. The campsite suits self-contained campers (water, power) who bring their own camping toilet/shower. Pets on leash welcome. 24 hr notice for cancellation Camp fires okay pending permission on the day, due to weather conditions. Excellent central location to your favourite outdoor activities, hikes and beaches. Bell tent hire available - Message for availability.
