A cleared grass/gravel paddock close to everything Maroochydore, Coolum and the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times. Please remember pick up after your fury friends as we have other guests here we have 3 - 4 sites right on the river and another 3 - 4 sites in our paddock with a section allowing our paddock guests to have access to the river to do all activities All waste to be taken away when you leave.

Pink was really easy to find and if you like a bit of off the beaten track, you’ll love this. So much space!! Fire pits and a level area gave for a lovely quiet stay with a beautiful vista! Little road noise and slept like a log!!

It's cheap so I was happy.. The roosters weren't great cockle doodle doin throughout the night but it's a farm so... I did msg the host and they never replied which is fine... It's cheap so just grateful for a place to stay.. The ground was hard even though it had been raining.. There are alot of potholes on the driveway in but nothing to crazy and none on the field itself.

We loved camping at River Road Ranch and will be back. Greg the host is very welcoming, and their bulldog Zena was also an amazing camp companion. You can't get any closer to the river with fishing, water skiers and an aerial stunt show from a local pilot. Campsites were grassy with the benefit of an included firepit - although it was too windy for a fire when we visited :( Thanks Greg and family for opening up your property for campers.

It’s not a big area but found the way sites were set was good area for a family. There’s roosters that may be confused on timing but wasn’t too bad. The kids loved seeing the cows in the morning. Owners were very polite. The beaches aren’t too far. I really enjoyed my time here

Spent 3 nights at River rd and it was great. Very peaceful and enjoyed our multiple visits by the owners bulldog. Obviously being on a river there are boats etc going past and the occasional plane taking off but if you can't handle that then you shouldn't go camping 😁. The campsites were well maintained with easy access in and out.

Be mindful that there are a few ticks around in the bush it's definitely worth watching and checking your pups, but besides that it was absolutely beautiful. every morning a family of kangaroos were at our site and very polite magpies always hanging around the fire, there is not walkable access to any water or river but it's not a far drive across the bridge. You have an incredible view of a field looking out towards mount Coolum, it's absolutely stunning at sunset and sunrise. Coming from people who generally live in a polluted s******* town the stars were something to behold, something we'll never forget. Besides the incredible campsite the location is absolutely prime, you were about 20 minutes drive from waterfalls and about five minute drives from kayaking and rivers, of course you gotta stop by the surf and beach and the town mall to feed the fish on your trip and make the most of this town Thankyou very much Dani it was an honour to stay here and we expect to return next year, we left some firewood for the next camper and we hope they enjoy the site as much as we did.

Really big pitches and free campfires just need logs. Although one of the people staying there came and gave me loads for free. As I say really nice people. My daughter asked to go camping again and she chose 'Best Park by the Sea'. She loves the animals and a fire at night and stargazing and close proximity to beaches for swimming, fishing and foraging. It was warmer this time around so there were more mosquitos, but we were well prepared. There is a lot of traffic at night as it's close to Sandstone and residential estates. Doesn't bother us at all. Flat grassy spots to pitch a tent. Other campers are friendly and quiet. It's easy to find and access and an excellent base camp to explore the local area. We were woken by roosters crowing in the early hours of the morning but we were expecting it and appreciated the early wake up. We got to see huge kangaroos and native birds and the cows bought their new born calves for a visit. My daughter got to see baby chicks and to pet one and feed them and was over the moon about it. We had a great stay and will be returning Thanks so much

It would be 4 stars for location and cleanliness. The host visited and was lovely also. 1 STAR!!!!!! But only because of the roosters. They woke me up at 3am each morning and they don’t stop until around 10am. They roam round all the vans and keep you up all morning. I was so angry I considered leaving a day early so I could actually get some sleep

Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.
