If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. The most well-maintained, gorgeous spot by the Condamine River. Firepits on each site and far enough away from the next camp to enjoy the space. Kayaks were a great option to explore the river. Lindsay was the friendliest of hosts and takes such pride in his beautiful HipCamp. The meat pack was delicious!! Just a heads up... lots of flies around Warwick at this time of year so remember the spray and your fly net to make things a little more comfortable..

Bares Hideaway was brilliant! Not far from Brisbane to get to and directions were easy. Paul & Tracey were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities were very clean and well kept. Loved that it has limits on number of sites to prevent crowding! Bins were on site for easy disposal of rubbish. The property is surrounded by trees and wildlife and the goats and sheep roam freely. Great for some R & R.

Spent a night here (if I had time I would’ve stayed longer). Everything from check in to set up was smooth. Bruce was great.. from helping me choose the right spot to making sure I’m set up for the night with my fire going.. felt incredibly safe here and the water in the creek was an added bonus for me and my dog. Facilities were clean and in good order and Bruce has plans to continue to upgrade. I can see why this place gets so busy on long weekends but thankful there was only a couple other campers there this weekend with enough space between us you couldn’t hear a thing.. I’ll definitely be coming back for longer than 1 night!

Had a relaxing few nights stay with my dogs at Coominya Farm Stay. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the dam and host Lynn was lovely to communicate with and even nicer in person. The amenities were spotless. Although I didn’t need to use the camp kitchen, it was a large, well thought out space and very clean. Overall a great value Hipcamp with the access to hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen all included.

Lovely, well spaced camp sites on pleasant, mown lawn flats along the upper Condamine. All sites had easy access and a few gums for shade. We spent the morning swimming, paddling and birding. It’s heavy black soil - don’t get stuck after rain.

My wife and I had a fantastic 2 night stay in our caravan at Savvy Farmstay. Ben and his family were wonderful hosts and so helpful as we were unfamiliar with the local area. Was a relaxing farm to stay at seeing lots of young piglets and lambs in their pens. Small baby chickens roaming around free. Walking the bush trails around the dam and creek were fun. Thank you Ben, Jess and children.
