CHOOKHOUSE FARMSTAY Checkins after 9am Things we can't provide: *Water for your caravan *Firewood *Drinking water Things we can offer: *Old school camp stay *old school pit toilets *friendly staff *plenty of space to have your tent/caravan/rv van/swag and your vehicles *fire pits *feeding the animals from 4 till 5pm *checkout anytime between 6am till 3pm Animals you can meet & feed: Panda, Jilly, Bully and baby Patches(our moo moos), Betc the goat who loves attention cuddles and brushing, Dorper Sheep and lambs, Peacocks literally everywhere, mixed CHICKENS, Miss Piggy-will sit for you especially if you have food, alpacas, (coming soon-guinea pigs and quails for kiddies to play with and feed) The Chookhouse is situated approximately 20 minutes south of Toowoomba, 10mins from Drayton where there is a small shopping complex. Please note that there are other dogs and animals in the area. We also have loud grain trains that pass by throughout the day and night. When you are travelling on Shepperd Road look for our "Chookhouse Farm" sign and a chook mailbox, that is the driveway you need to take. Drive up to the sign and call number on sign. Please wait for staff member to come out and greet you in your car. LONG TERM RENTALS AVAILABLE TALK TO THE TEAM FOR MORE INFORMATION Amenity block with hot water and flushing toilets for those booked in Pepperina. ADULTS ONLY STRICTLY NO CHILDREN. LIMITED SITES. Top Paddock power, Top Paddock powered and Paddock Camp unpowered we have gas camp style showers (preset temperature for the safety of children). THERES 2 PIT SHOWERS, HOWEVER NOT ALWAYS WORKING. There are also 3 x BUSH/PIT toilets in the camp areas. In each camp area we have 3 x rubbish bins. Plenty of room for self-contained caravans/motorhomes and places to pitch a tent or camper. National Parks, walking trails, Wineries, Gourmet Pubs and Restaurants, Markets, two magnificent parks with play areas for children and so many other points of interest to see and discover. Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required.

Top Paddock: Large open area with plenty of room. This area is great for self contained guests, who have their own amenities. OR Bring your own shower tent (we can supply you with bore water for your Solar shower bags if needed); we do have long drop toilets that you can use. We do have a camp shower with HOT water if you need it. Kids bring your bikes and ride around in a safe area. Take advantage of our large fire pit. Close to community area, far enough away so you are not disturbed. WE DO NOT HAVE DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE - we do have bore water however you must boil it first.
