Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley.
Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans.
Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO.
The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country.
You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view!
The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting!

We are proudly off-grid with no powered sites. Our focus is peace, space, and sustainability. Motorised equipment is not allowed on our lake, but Somerset Dam (40 minutes away) welcomes boating and jet skis.

We have 24 spacious sites, some lakefront and others among trees or in the open. Lakefront spots can’t be guaranteed — sites are assigned based on group size and setup. If you’re camping with others, please message after booking so we can place you together.
Facilities include:
• Three flushing toilets and two hot showers in the main area with 3 porta loos.
• 2 Porta-loos at remote sites (max 500 m from amenities)
• Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions)
• Firewood available $20 per 20–25 kg bag (no BYO wood)

Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. Please do the assigned speed limits. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Supervise your children at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

What a fantastic weekend we have just had! The weather was abysmal all weekend however it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits Our group camp was full of laughter chatting catching up guitar playing singing and generally relaxing. Bushy and Emma are the most fantastic hosts and went over and above to ensure we all were have a wonderful stay at their property. This was our second time out there and certainly won’t be our last. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Grounds were amazing with great facilities.
To top it off the D'Ag Pub has a courtesy bus that will do pick up/drop off to the camp grounds.

We had a lovely weekend camping and swimming at Bushy's. The toilets were clean, the grassy campsites were well maintained and we made the most of the firepits and picked up a bag of wood. We loved going for a paddle and swim in the lake. It is easy and relaxing and we will be back.

This spot was amazing. I had campsite 5 that overlooked the little dam and it was beautiful. My only recommendation would be if they levelled out the area to be flat as it’s on a slight hill but still give this 5 stars every day of the week I highly recommend this! I solo travelled with my dog so having reception was great as well to pass the time. Nothing bad to say about my stay. I normally like to try different locations but I definitely think I’ll be staying back here again, it was worth the drive from Brisbane.

Easy to access, great vibes from the hosts. enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the lake, and bathroom facilities were decent. I saw a friendly possum scoping out leftover food and many native birds wandering around my site. Everything seemed really well maintained, and there was enough dead branches for kindling and firewood for my two night stay.
The aspects less than ideal for me was hearing the neighbouring property (I think on the far left side of the "Lakeview" side) play loud music in the distance, and their vehicle engine idling for half an hour on Friday night. I also thought the light outside the bathroom building was quite bright and projected light that I could kinda see while in my tent. Good to know where to go but it felt unnecessarily bright.
There were huge flies to battle during the middle of the day, I guess just a good excuse to go for a swim. Something to prepare for though I'm not sure how to deter them - citronella lamps maybe?
I'd still bring my wife here for a future stay - perhaps further away from the bathroom area and other campers.

Loved this spot for tent camping! Camped on site 1 on the ridgeline and enjoyed the fire pit, clean loo and a couple gorgeous swims in the dam out back! Conveniently located for Eumundi markets and Noosa Heads.
