Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. We offer two types of camping; bush sites and a Camping Pod. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. We cannot accept caravans/hybrids of any size or type. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit (please do not damage or move the bricks) and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot too if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Number of guests for bookings is for total adults (16 and over). Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) or add on to your booking for $22ea. Travel down the gravel road for about half a km and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grassy paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

A great Sunshine Coast camp site a short drive to Mooloolaba Beach. Joyful Valley is a 40 acre property with large level grass areas surrounded by trees. There are several water ponds and a creek with tiny fish, lotus flowers, kangaroos, goannas, horses, lots of butterflies and bird life to see. A large level field great to kick the footy about. This is a super convenient location. The Bruce Highway is 200m from the front, however the property stretches back and cars can only be seen from the billabong site. Enjoy bush camping and being able to stretch out with space but with all your conveniences so close by, 3minute drive to the uni and shops. The beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast are within a very easy reach along with Aussie World and Australia Zoo. A new bike path now links you directly with Aussie World and Banana Benders Pub. The cost is $40 per vehicle for 2 adults, if you are bringing additional people it’s $10 each, additional cars $20. please add this on in the extras section at the time of booking. Campers will need to be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Sorry, we strictly cannot allow pets.

Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 10 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. Pets permitted but must be restrained.

It is surrounded by State Forest and offers some great bushwalks. We have some flat areas, perfect for camping, and then plenty of terraced or hilly areas to explore, with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Dog friendly. There is tank water but we'd advise you to bring your own. Access is via a gravel road. Due to recent weather events, an SUV or 4WD vehicle is required to access the property. Ok for caravans (flat area on entry to property) but you'd need a 4WD for the hill site turn around area. Please do not follow the GPS to get to old Caloundra Rd, come off Steve Irwin Way to access the property.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.

Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 10 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. There are several water ponds and a creek with tiny fish, lotus flowers, kangaroos, goannas, horses, lots of butterflies and bird life to see. A large level field great to kick the footy about. This is a super convenient location. The Bruce Highway is 200m from the front, however the property stretches back and cars can only be seen from the billabong site. Enjoy bush camping and being able to stretch out with space but with all your conveniences so close by, 3minute drive to the uni and shops. The beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast are within a very easy reach along with Aussie World and Australia Zoo. A new bike path now links you directly with Aussie World and Banana Benders Pub. The cost is $40 per vehicle for 2 adults, if you are bringing additional people it’s $10 each, additional cars $20. please add this on in the extras section at the time of booking. Campers will need to be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Sorry, we strictly cannot allow pets.
