Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. You can camp anywhere you like. Some areas are sandy and difficult to re-establish so please stick to the firm grass. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead as we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it but you can have a contained fire anywhere there is already a burnt patch. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Being so close to the CBD the site is a great option for 'shake down' short stays for your new caravan or camper trailer. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. There is a large flat grassy area for kids to play and ride bikes. Welcome to our lush 9 acre Hobby Farm Stay property overlooking the Brisbane River with horses, ducks, geese and chickens. Experience the joys of farm life, feeding the animals, collecting eggs and relaxing under the mango trees. You can choose a private campsite tucked away out of sight of the main house, shaded by mango and orange trees overlooking the Brisbane River. If you choose to camp in the open away from the trees you will still have a river view, the house will be in sight, but we live a quiet life and will respect your privacy. The site is perfect for couples and family/friend groups. We can accommodate, tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. Being so close to the CBD the site is a great option for 'shake down' short stays for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. There is a large flat grassy area for kids to play and ride bikes. Enjoy riverfront walking and riding trail access right from your campsite. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Firewood bundles are available as an 'extra' for $20, if you would like a bundle waiting for you please amend your booking to include firewood. Power (10amp 0nly) and water is available close to your campsite, but you must bring your own camping toilet. Daily water usage is included in your booking fee. Long range water tank fill ups incur a one off extra fee of $10, please include this in your booking under extras. We are friendly hosts who will respect your privacy and welcome your children to participate in farmyard feeding times and egg collecting. Our geese and ducks and chickens are hand reared so they are not aggressive at all 😃 We have two Sausage dogs, Ockie and Arlo. Ockie especially likes to visit campers, Arlo is a little less social but she may visit if she musters up the courage. This is their home so if you aren't doggy people perhaps this isn't the campsite for you. Please keep your food and rubbish up high so the doggos and other critters don't help themselves. Horse riding lessons are available by prior arrangements. Please give 7 days notice prior to your stay should you wish to book a riding lesson. No dogs please, Ockie and Arlo are the masters of their domain and don't like doggy interlopers. NB: The site is not suitable for parties or large group gatherings.

The park features a manned Reception Desk (weekdays), Pool, and Lounge Room. There's also communal BBQ facilities, and amenities with hot showers, and paid laundry. Our campsites are located in the rear section of Brisbane North Rental Village, which offers cabin and caravan accommodation to short and long term guests. You'll struggle to camp closer to Brisbane CBD.

The knight Ranch is a small hobby farm with beautiful flat grassy fields, Established trees providing plenty of shade. Wildlife a plenty. With resident animals tawny frog mouth and ducks. The camp/caravan site is isolated out in the rear paddock. The most pristine area on the property. As soon as you arrive you will begin to relax. Easy access off wallace road and easy pull through to the back paddock. Open grassy field with established trees overlooking a small dam and bushland. The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations a plenty so find the one the best suits your mood. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. You can camp anywhere you like. Some areas are sandy and difficult to re-establish so please stick to the firm grass. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead as we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it but you can have a contained fire anywhere there is already a burnt patch. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.
