We are a working small rural property so with that comes seasonal tractor work/trucks and an element of busy, depending on what projects are on the go! Real taste of rural life while being smack bang in the privacy and serenity of our buzzing property!

The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.
A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.

One part of the gravel driveway is steep, so a vehicle with some clearance is advised.

This property is a working cattle located in the beautiful Somerset region of Queensland. The camping area is mowed and maintained for easy access for setting up the tent, parking an RV or just throwing a swag on the ground , with views to Somerset Dam.

We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm.
All overseen and kept in order by
the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers.
Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings.
The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available.
We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain.
Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and
Wivenhoe districts.
In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead).
Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and
are not a danger to the livestock.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

It turned out to be such a romantic camping trip filled with wonderful memories.
It rained heavily starting the day before departure, so I contacted them, and they told me the place wasn’t affected by the weather, so we decided to come anyway.
We arrived on a rainy day and it rained a lot for the next two days. On the day we were supposed to go home, the sun finally came out, so we extended our stay by one more day.
It’s a place that is incredibly beautiful both in the rain and in the sunshine. The restrooms and shower facilities were extremely clean and perfect.
Since we stayed for three nights, it might have been even better if there had been a sink for dishwash, but it was still perfectly fine without one.
We truly had a happy time here.
We will definitely come back again.

Awesome site! Very spacious and private, with a lovely view, and extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts! We saw wild red deer and some wallabies, caught some massive red claw in the crab pots provided, and high quality firewood 😁 Would definitely stay here again!

What a great spot, private and plenty of space! Helpful to have toilets and the shower too!! The kitchen was good especially for washing up. An absolute bonus to have a solar set with battery so we could charge our devices!! John was super helpful with heaps of local knowledge. We are looking forward to going back again!!

We enjoyed it so much we came back. This is a gorgeous location. Plenty of space and having access to the dam is great for the afternoon dip and sundowners. The camp kitchen is next level. Hosts Annette and Christine are wonderful and really look after the facilities so every visit is amazing.

This is our second trip to the property and we love it. Annette and Christine the hosts are amazing and have created a beautiful property. The camp kitchen is amazing! So good to have access to this especially as a large group. We always have an amazing time here. Great for groups with kids as you have access to the water, so make sure you pack your kayak, or paddleboard.

It was so lovely to get away and spend a few nights at Bebe's camp spot with beautiful views.
Was easy to find and on arrival Bebe came out to meet us and my 2 dogs. Bebe is a awesome host and explained everything thoroughly and you get a little booklet as well for things to do with a detailed map in the book.
Camping on my own I felt very safe on the property. It was beautiful to go and explore around the lake.
The camp spot is very pieaceful and quiet and slept very well in my tent. Thank you Bebe was lovely to meet you And thank you for getting me some soap that I forgot to bring! 😊

We loved camping at Lakeview Estate! It was peaceful, with the most beautiful views of the dam and a relaxing walk down to have a swim. The bar area with lights beside the firepit was a gorgeous, useful area. Our teens and adult children loved staying here. Christine, the caretaker, was friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this camp! The property and area is stunning, amazing views of rolling mountains and the dam in the distance, massive campsite and a lovely camp fire area with big rocks to sit on and big cactus! Bebe and family were so accomodating and lovely, amazing experience all round. My puppy loved it too! We will definitely be back :)
