Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
We are located 50km from Brisbane CBD, 1km from the Warrego Hwy, Sundowner Saloon and the country township of Marburg. We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm. All overseen and kept in order by the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers. Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings. The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available. We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain. Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and Wivenhoe districts. In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and are not a danger to the livestock. Field of Dreams takes no responsibility for the safety of visiting animals. Please note: Owner lives on-site next to the camp site. Shared site and facilities including shared firepit with up to 4 other groups of campers. Beautiful property with cute little tiny house which was clean and had a comfortable bed. Loved the outdoor shower and being able to enjoy the view at the same time. Would stay there again if I was in the area

Cabin was lovely with fantastic panoramic view. Had a comfy bed and lots of thoughtful and practical items were provided, towels, crockery, cutlery, torches, teabags etc.

This was the most wonderful place to stay at. Phil is so lovely and welcoming, the cottage was so cozy and the animals were so friendly! There's a lovely firepit to sit around to roast marshmallows and watch the stars. We are already lining up a trip back here, couldn't recommend it more for a nice "off the grid" getaway!

Gorgeous private cabin with views
Off Grid Sunset Cottage - Sleeps 2
What a beautiful part of the world! We stayed for 1 night only in the off-grid cottage, and it was super private and very well set up. The loo with a view (and shower) was a short 80m walk away, and the fire pit with bench seats aren't shared with other campers - they're all yours. The cottage was surprisingly warm (even in the depths of August winter) and very clean and new. Phil is a great host - welcoming and yet unobtrusive. Phil's two pointers, Harvey and Ziggy might stop by to say hi and seek out some pats, and they're some of the most gorgeous puppies we've seen. The cows are curious too, but the electric fence means they'll look but not touch. We'll be back - perhaps when the sunflowers bloom in October 😊

Beautiful place with amazing views and a well kept property and bonus of hot showers and a flushing toilet! Ziggy and Harvey are lovely dogs and lovely natured! Phil himself is a wonderful host!

Really enjoyed the spot near the dam. Quiet and private, (no toilets/ showers down at that spot.) Perfect 1 nighter get away.

We had an amazing time camping in Haigslea at Field of Dreams. Phil is a great host and was very helpful with any questions we had. The added perk was meeting the best and most welcoming farm dogs, Ziggy and Harvey. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I, and our two fur babies, had an all too short overnight stay at Phil’s cabin. The cabin while small was so cosy and the surrounding views just stunning. Phil and his dogs, Harvey and Zig are very welcoming hosts and we can’t wait to go back for a longer stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay on Phil’s property! So spacious and peaceful with lovely views of a morning and afternoon. Our kids loved being close to the cows and horses, especially being able to feed the cows. Phil was extremely helpful and ensured we had a great stay. Our site was very spacious and fit our caravan perfectly. We will definitely visit again!

We stayed one night in the cabin and it was just beautiful! The place is stunning and the cabin really cute. Worth it getting there before sunset if on a nice clear day. Toilet and hot shower working well and with a view! Phil and his dogs are lovely hosts😊thank you!!

We loved the field of dreams! We were a group of two caravans, tent and rented the cottage too for a family camping trip and this place was perfect for it. The views are amazing, the property tidy and beautiful and the kids loved the cows! Phil was a great host and we're very fortunate to be allowed to experience a part of his beautiful property. It got pretty chilly at night but the campfire kept us warm with plenty of firewood to collect! The open bathroom might be a bit off putting for some as it's not very private (away from camp though) but has a hot water shower. Probably our favourite hipcamp to date and we'd happily come back!

Amazing views and nice grassy flat spot with good amenities, however not very private with other campers and owner quite close. But they were lovely. Just depends what you’re like!

Had a great weekend at Field of Dreams. Great property with stunning views and a wonderful host. Walking the property was a blast - especially when the friendly cows and horses joined us. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back for another visit.

We had a great time! The scenery was beautiful, facilities were basic but that exactly what we wanted, it was just enough to not be roughing it too much! The dogs and farm animals were all so friendly my daughter had a ball with them! Phil was a great host! Thanks again!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Phil's farm, it felt like we were a million miles from anywhere, but only 17 minutes from Ipswich! The resident cows, horses, dogs, and chooks were entertaining to watch, and Phil was a great host. We loved wandering around the property on the mown paths and exploring. Super quiet spot with amazing views and great night sky.

I had such an amazing camping experience at Phil's farm. Phil is a really friendly and helpful host, he helped me with setting up the tent and fly and came and checked up if everything was okay from time to time. I spent two lovely nights at the farm, waking up to cows and horses feeding next to me in the morning was such a new and exciting expeirence. I really enjoyed the view of the farm and animals there were super cute and friendly. I may come back next time.

Phil’s camping area was immaculate, so easy to quickly set up our rooftop tent. Easy access and to find! They were very accommodating and so much to experience, beautiful sunflowers, Chickens and all the cattle were friendly and didn’t disturb our time there.

Phil is an absolute legend and the field of dreams is a beautiful property, well set up for campers of any kind! The view is sensational with 360° rolling hills and the animals are all super sweet! Highly recommend & we'll definitely be back!
