This is a delightful campsite. Two seperate camping, flat areas - slightly in view of each other but in no way intrusive. Would describe as rustic, however, there is water and rubbish etc collected. Grassy sites well kept. Creek gurgled away and the teen grandchildren loved, as did the adults.
We were a group with two caravans - so it was downhill to access sites. This gave some anxiety about how we got out!! Of course, there were no problems....
Paul was a delightful host, easy to communicate with and on site to help if required.
Access to the property is off the Cunningham H'way - Paul explains this in his intro - we missed the turn but just circled back through Maryvale and had a second cut at it. Again, no problems even with the vans.
Minor road noise at night however traffic lights on the CH about 10k away 'backed up' the traffic so traffic came through in groups rather than being spread out.
Will certainly return.

Lovely spot on a lovely island.
Was quite difficult to get to with the high tide. A neighbour put us up on his site for the night on John’s word.
John was super helpful and made lots of effort to assure we were ok and made it in.
Once in the site is gorgeous! My children lost their minds at how cool it all was and I will be recommending and be back.

Our family had the most wonderful getaway at campsite area 1. There is so much for the kids to do with the slides, swimming, slip-n-slide and so much more. Definitely put this place on your to-do list! The IGA is like a 5 min drive too which made it so easy for stocking up on food and coffee when needed. A 30 min drive to Bribie Island was lots of fun as well to visit the surf beach. But its that good you really don't need to leave the campsite!

Great relaxing place, large sites with lake frontage. Kids loved swimming in the lake. Town 5 minutes away, each area has a fireplace, powered and unpowered sites. Bring mozzie repellant, no amenities or potable water so need to be self contained and it is pet friendly!!!

Had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights. Beautiful grassy lakeside sites. Plenty of free activities and equipment for the kids. Sites were generous in size so you didn’t feel like you were camping on top of your neighbour. Nice quiet, relaxed atmosphere, an definitely looking forward to going back again.

Camping at Lakeview was beautiful. The whole place was clean, lawns mowed and bins available to use. Our area was big and right on the lake. Swimming was great and the slides etc were fun for little kids and big kids. Can't wait to come back.
