We loved our stay at this camp, perfect for families. Kids had a great time feeding the animals, collecting eggs, running free in the beautiful paddocks and play area. Yifu is friendly and booking in was easy and well communicated. We caught a few fish and enjoyed camping alongside the alpacas. Clean, close amenities. The geese add a bit of character to the stay! We will be back, so close to Canberra too!.

It‘s an excellent family campsite, very suitable for families with children. It has very clean toilets and warm water for showering. The lovely farm owners have given each little animals a name and know the habits of every one of them. They are very friendly. Children can collect eggs, feed guinea pigs, quails, horses and rabbits. One very interesting I saw was one hen who would come out of the cage every morning and walk to her secret place to lay eggs, it is so funny. My 5 years old girl is very enjoy the stay of this campsite, highly recommend.

Maddara is a beautiful place. There was plenty of space and privacy as well as a warm shower and amenities. Margot and Michael were so welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved our stay at this camp, easy to get into Canberra but a nice relaxed camp with a back to nature feel. My kids loved the animals to pat and we loved waking up to the alpacas and geese roaming paddock B. Didn’t try the shower but toilets were clean and well maintained.

Had the best time at Farmily Land! The area was clean, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved the walking trails and relaxing by the fire at night. Perfect place to unwind—can’t wait to go back!

We just returned from the most magical stay at this campsite and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stunning views that took our breath away. The setting is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to unplug and soak in nature. What really sets this campsite apart are the farm animals – a huge hit with our kids! They loved picking fresh eggs in the morning, feeding the friendly pony and rabbits, and watching the geese wander around. It’s like staying in a storybook farm! The facilities are spotless and thoughtfully designed, making the stay super comfortable. Showers were hot, everything was well maintained, and you can tell the hosts really care about the place – and their guests. Speaking of which, the host was absolutely amazing – warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. If you’re looking for a unique, family-friendly camping experience with a little extra magic, this is hands-down the best campsite ever. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Yifi's property was amazing! We loved our little getaway. Yifu let's the kids pick an egg great from the chicken coop. They even got to pat one. Amenities were clean and great. Would love to come back when it starts getting warmer again

Weekend Trip to Country Journey, Boxgrove farm

This camp is perfect, you can fish, there are alpacas to see, there are a lot of geese, the manager is very attentive and allows customers to experience picking fresh eggs... The toilets and bathrooms are very clean, the camp is very clean... I will definitely come back, thank you for the good service.

Our second time camping at Boxgrove. This time twenty of us. Ideal for large groups and plenty to do. No phone reception so the eleven teenagers played footy, tennis, golf, and Sang around the camp fire. The area is in bad drought currently so hopefully they get some rain soon

Weekend Trip to Country Journey, Boxgrove farm

I spent the weekend on sacred solo time and it was bliss. Went for a beautiful bush walk, raved in the middle of the fields, rode a bike around the land, swam in the dam, sun-baked on the grass, made my own fires and lay under the stars.

The farm owners were very friendly and we participated in farm activities.

Absolutely loved our stay at this camp! The location was perfect — nice and close to Canberra, but it still felt like a peaceful escape. The site itself was stunning, right by the water where we even managed to catch a fish! There were geese wandering around and the owner was just incredible — he truly went above and beyond. He gave us fresh eggs from his own chickens, made us a firepit, and even brought it down to the water for us to enjoy by our campsite. The toilet was honestly the cleanest and best-kept I've ever seen while camping. Couldn’t recommend this spot more. We’ll 100% be coming back!

1 night at Farmily Land

Farmily land was a great little hipcamp. We stayed at the playground camp site which the kids loved playing on the swings and enjoying a camp fire which Yifu had set up for us. Yifu was a great host and made us feel extremely welcome. The kids got to feed the geese when we arrived and the following morning played with Yifu's son who took the kids to collect some chicken eggs which we got to keep. There was 2 flushing toilets which were lovely and clean and a shower ( we didn't use it though) . Thanks for having us Yifu, staying with you was lovely. Nicolle and Family.

Weekend Trip to Pine Gums, via Goulburn.

A very peaceful and quiet overnight stop on our way to Melbourne. Only 10mins off the freeway, perfect for getting back on track quickly the next day. Suitable for a 4wd with rooftop. I would not like to camp in a tent on the ground in the quick camp sites unless the sites were cleared and levelled more. Thanks for the fire pit. We didn’t use it on this occasion but great to have available.

The place is amazing among the campgrounds at farms. Nice and clean toilet and shower room. Well equipped playground and open area. We forgot the fishing gear this time, but I will bring it next time. Owners are polite, friendly and welcoming!

Beautiful camp spot, hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful. We’ll be going back regularly.

The Farmily Land is an animal rescue, off-grid farm where you can have a day trip, go for a picnic, camp out, go fishing, feed and pat the farm animals, go boating or just relax and unwind with your friends and relatives in a leisurely way. There are a number of sites for caravans, vans, camping trailers, campers, tents, swags and a very unique ‘Glamping' option will be coming soon. We keep the sites spacious and well distanced so you can really feel the farms special vibe. We have dozens of friendly farm animals you can feed and pat! They are very interactive and most were rescued and hand raised by us so have very unique personalities. There is a nature playground for the kids. We are pet friendly for well behaved dogs! We have a strict on-leash policy at all times and if your dog is off leash you might be asked to leave. Respect all our animals at all times. We have zero tolerance for disrespect for our farm animals. This includes off leash dogs and allowing your dog to go too close to the farm animals especially the Alpacas. Please leave no trace. Take all waste away with you, during your stay and when you leave. Be considerate of other visitors. Feel free to use the fire pits provided by the farm. You can purchase excellent firewood from the staff or bring your own. The scattered branches on the farm can be picked up and used at will. However, we have zero tolerance for the act of damaging living trees.

Pine Gums is so close to everything but also feels a world away from everyone. From the time you pull in, to the time you leave, the experience at Pine Gums is peaceful, rewarding and one you will always cherish and remember. With so many people coming back time and time again, bringing friends and family, this really does speak for itself. This site was previously a pine forest and was harvested back in 2018. We are clearing some ground for grazing cattle while letting some regrowth come through for the wildlife. We have plenty of kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few and an abundance of birdlife. We have multiple options for campers. COMFORT CAMP Our comfort camp has an an undercover BBQ area with seating, a built-in fireplace and gas BBQ. There is also a proper flushing toilet and hot/cold shower, solar lighting and USB charging port. QUICK CAMPS We also have 5 Quick Camp spaces for those self-sufficient campers who want to get away from it all in a quiet neck-of-the-woods. You'll be surrounded by peace and quiet to pull up the van, pitch the tent or roll out the swag. At night, sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. This spot feels a world away but still has the convenience of being only 10 minutes off the Hume Hwy and only 20 minutes from Goulburn where you can get all your daily needs. Once a much larger property, we purchased our 120-acre (50-hectare) in 1984 as a means to live sustainably and raise a family. Living in our shed whilst we prepared the garden, put in watering infrastructure and built our house which we finally moved in when our daughter was 6 months old in 1990. Over the ensuing years we have continued to increase biodiversity on the property and set it up so we can live sustainably, harvesting our own water, electricity and food. If your lucky you could get a hamper of our product when there is sufficient in season. With the increased biodiversity you will find that in the mornings and evenings kangaroos and wallabies will visit with the occasional echidna, rabbit and hare; and to forget the large array of bird life - that may wake you early in the morning with the songs. This campsite is set on lovely grassy open areas interspersed with gum trees. The sunrise looks spectacular near the dam, when the trees give off a lovely glow. The main paddock has a Geodome, a shared space for relaxing in. With all that space you can park and set up camp anywhere in the paddock. There is access to drinking water, toilets, and a hot shower. Around the dome is a firepit, drinking water and a camp kitchen. The firepit features an Argentinian BBQ and a plate for cooking. The kitchen has plates, cups, cutlery, and other bits and pieces for you to use. We also allow for your pets to stay onsite, this also includes horses. MOUNTAIN VIEW RETREAT

We are located a short drive from Tumut in the Snowy Mountains region. Pitch your tent or RV overlooking the gorgeous mountains. We are half a kilometre from the main road behind locked gates, and just 10 minutes from town for all your supply needs. There are plenty of scenic walks and fishing spots nearby, at camp you can enjoy complete privacy. There is a shower and toilet available which is separate from the main residence. There is also bar fridge, large chest freezer, jug, toaster, and microwave available, We are on tank water and can offer drinking water. We ask that you are conservative with your water use, and we encourage you to bring your own. Enjoy waking up to the tranquil sounds of wildlife of all sorts, (not having to hear any traffic being 500meters off the main road). plus the views of the kangaroos in the mornings is pleasant too! The campsite is accessible by 2WD and we can accommodate all types of camping vehicles. You will need to level your vehicle depending on which site you choose. Your pet is welcome to join you and can cool off in the dams we have available.
