Absolutely picturesque camping site, complete with picnic table, a compost toilet and a fire pit - I didn’t get to use any of those as our stay was just a quick overnighter but I am determined to come back because of just how beautiful the place is. We’ll sign posted to get to the site with directions from Paula - just be weary that if it’s been wet in the area I wouldn’t be too confident with bald tyres on a fwd only corrola but everything else will be totally fine.

This is the second time I’ve been here, it’s unreal. I LOVE that it’s only one site. Beautiful views. The cleanest drop dunny I’ve ever seen. The perfect place to go if you just want to do classic camping - cooking on the fire, reading a book, relaxing. We love it here (the dogs do, too)!

This was a beautiful, peaceful and private site. Lovely views and plenty of space. Compost toilet was clean and non-smelly. We plan to come back as it’s an easy drive from Canberra for a quick night away.

This place was absolutely wonderful. The campsite was easy to get to with the supplied directions. It was well kept and spacious for my 18 foot van. Toilet was super handy, impeccably clean and the solar battery was a nice addition. The fire pit , seats and picnic table were also very handy. The area was peaceful and well kept for a rural property. I will be coming back with my family.

We had a wonderful one night visit at Themada Farm on the June long weekend. It gives you an amazing "off the grid" experience but with the added bonus of 4G and an immaculate compost toilet. Such a pristine, private and pretty spot to set up. Clear, flat even ground perfect for popping up a tent. Has a picnic table, seating around the fire pit, and a grill. BYO fire wood. Light and noise pollution non existent, watching the sun set and the stars rise was an experience I won't forgot. It was easy to find, but the track is rough in spots, but we just slowly cruised through. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we return one day soon.

Themeda Farm was a beautiful & peaceful camp to stay at. Amazing views during the day and stargazing at night around the fire. Loved waking up to see the Roos bounding across the hills. The vibes were immaculate and I am excited to head back there one day to explore some more

Had such a relaxing stay at Themeda that I went back the following week. Sweeping views of the Murrumbidgee corridor provide unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. Backed with pine forest, the site is secluded and protected. The composting toilet is clean and functions well, non-potable water is available from a small tank. No problem accessing campsite in 2wd van.

Great location and very peaceful. The composting drop toilet is very clean and the morning view from the rooftop tent was amazing. Even took a trip down to the river which was even more peaceful though the walk back up proved how unfit we are!

beautiful and private spot with great amount of room for us and the dog to set up, and conveniently located close to cbr.
the stairs down to the river definitely a struggle with a dog, but we were rewarded for our efforts with some cod! a beautiful spot by the river to spend the afternoon. Can’t wait to come back here 😊

We recently spent a night for the second time camping at this beautiful private theamda farm, and it was honestly one of the most relaxing getaways we’ve had! The setting was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with plenty of space for us and our two dogs to enjoy freely. It felt very secluded and well maintained which made the whole experience even better . One of the highlights was getting to try and bring home some of their homemade jams , honey and pickles absolutely delicious and made with so much care!
If you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city, especially with pets, this place is perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a great stay here. Easy access, not far out of town and amazing views. Heaps of space for the kids to be kids! The toilet has to be one of the best composting toilets we’ve used. Thanks Paula for sharing your property with us. We will definitely be back, maybe with family or friends!

Great place to camp, only 35 minutes away from home. Directions were easy to follow, great views and the pine trees were a nice backdrop. The fire pit was a good size and the amenities were clean. I should also add we had the site to ourselves which was great. I would highly recommend for a quick getaway and a bonus is you also have access to the river

The views were outstanding, which were only made more special by the peace and quiet of having the area to ourselves. The backdrop of the pine forest provided a beautiful aroma as we watched the sunset, with curious animals (foxes, kangaroos) coming to say hello.
The facilities, including the loo, were well kept and spotless. The instruction booklet was easy to locate and follow.
We will absolutely be visiting again!

Incredible views and great privacy having the whole spot to yourselves. Recommend bringing a gazebo to put over the table in summer as the only shade is if you tuck into the side of the pine forest. Couldn’t find a direct route from the campsite directly down to the river, but it’s a 1km walk or short drive to the steps up near the house (the steps are a hike enough and I wouldn’t have enjoyed walking the kilometre then back to the campsite). The river is gorgeous though. The steps aren’t super dog friendly. Not sure how windy it gets down there but it’s an awesome spot for stargazing and you’d get great sun in winter.
Awesome little farm box at the entrance that had all sorts of yummy sauces, pickles, honey and eggs one day too. Thanks Paula!

Great private spot with good views. Managed to get in and out without too much effort even in our medium car. Unfortunately it's on a bit of a cliff so you have to trek a ways to get to the stairs to access the river but lovely once you get there.

What a ripper HipCamp. The views are amazing and you have the whole campsite to yourself. Great fire set up with log benches either side. A composting toilet if you need. The drive in is down a steep track. You want high clearance. We have a 19ft off road caravan with a 4WD and had no troubles getting in. There is a beautiful , but steep 1km walking track down to the Murrumbidgee River. The hosts were lovely. We have stayed at a lot of HipCamps, this would be 1 of our favourites. We book for 1 night, stayed for 2 and will be back.
