Got bogged and they didn't help

I got bogged in their paddock and tried contacting them both by ringing the bell outside their residence and texting the number they have on hipcamp, to no avail. All morning. No response. Still no response to my texts informing them what was happening several days later. It was only because of their very kind neighbour that stopped when I waved him down and came back and helped us out that I managed to get out and back in the road. I am really surprised they still havent text back to say sorry and explain why. Very disappointing. It was quite a bad experience.

Absolutely loved this spot! Rescued farm animals were the highlight for me whilst hubby tried his luck with the fishes. Nice clean toilets and shower are a bonus đŞđ˝đŞđ˝. Definitely coming back

I still canât believe Farmily Land was only 15 minutes from our home â it felt like weâd escaped hours away into pure nature. The property is spacious and peaceful, with friendly animals roaming freely and the kindest hosts who make you feel instantly welcome. The amenities were spotless, the surroundings were beautiful, and our favourite part was sitting around the firepit together under the stars. It was such a wholesome family stay that our daughter now wants to bring her friends back here to camp for her birthday.

Unfortunately the weather wasnât on our side so I donât believe we got the full benefit of staying here. We saw the host once about working the shower and received a couple of fresh eggs. The playground paddock is not level but is closest to the toilets and shower. As we have two dogs, the neighbouring properties all had 1080 bait signs. This didnât leave us feeling very confident having our dogs there. It was quiet at night and about 35 mins to the CBD.

Absolutely amazing location! It was the perfect spot to take my kids camping for the first time. The play equipment was a lifesaver and kept them entertained throughout our stay.
The views overlooking the little dam were absolutely beautiful, and the family who own and look after the property were lovely and welcoming. The farm tour was fantastic, and my kids absolutely loved it.
As we were leaving, my children were already asking when we could come back again which says it all! We will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.
I canât recommend this place highly enough, especially for families with kids. The facilities were excellent, with very clean toilets, a shower available if needed, campfire facilities, and everything you could want for a comfortable camping experience.
A wonderful family-friendly getaway that weâll be visiting again. âââââ

I loved the bell tent and the set up was done very nice and wasn't expecting the complimentary extras. We had a couple of last minute guests that wanted to attend and the host was very accommodating. Probably the only confusing thing about the stay was the instructions for the shower but kids really enjoyed feeding and petting the animals. All and all great stay 10 minutes out of Canberra

I had such an incredible 3 days and 2 nights staying at this Hipcamp â it truly exceeded expectations. The campsite itself is absolutely beautiful, especially with the peaceful pond scenery that makes the whole place feel calm and relaxing.
One thing we really appreciated was how the host limits the number of campers. It made a huge difference â everyone had plenty of space and privacy, which is rare and so valuable.
The farm tour was a lovely bonus. Getting to feed the chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, alpacas, and even a horse was such a fun and wholesome experience. On arrival, I were even welcomed with a free fresh egg â such a thoughtful touch!
Thereâs also a very nicely set up playground for kids, making it a great spot for families. Internet reception is quite limited, which actually turned out to be a highlight â the perfect place for a proper technology detox and to fully switch off.
At night, the sky was incredibly clear and filled with stars â perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Facilities were also great, with clean toilets and a hot shower available, which made the stay comfortable and easy.
Overall, we felt very safe, relaxed, and well looked after throughout the entire stay. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with a bit of farm charm!

Hi, I found this place so calm and peaceful. The toilet was very clean and well-stocked with toilet paper, the owner was kind and friendly, and we really enjoyed our one-night stay.

We loved our little get away. Yifu and his wife were very hospitable. The farm is quiet, relaxing and the kids were occupied. They fed the farm animals and played in the front paddock that had a trampoline, cubby house and swings.
The animals are friendly and the kids got to collect fresh eggs.
We will definitely be back.

It was my kids first camping trip, it was a success. They loved the farm, they loved being around the animals and the feeding tour that Yifu took them on. I would definitely recommend it as a nice easy entry into camping for your young kids.

Best experience ever! Hosts r super friendly and accommodating helped us in every way. There r a few fire pits around the farm grounds, very clean toilets and shower. Nice pond view and kids playground comes handy. All the farm animals r friendly, kids love to feed the bunnies and collect eggs. Alpacas are a bit shy but decided to visit us one morning ;) I love the horse Missy who is super chill. 3 nights didnât feel long enough, we will definitely visit again during warmer months.

Thanks! My daughter and I loved the convenient (to Canberra) location and farm feel made it a relaxing stay. Nice tranquil view of the pond, quiet and everyone was spreadout so you can feel like your by yourself. The animals were a bonus and enjoyed... Recommend for a local Canberra area stay.

Great stay during the school holidays. The kids loved using the trampoline and swings. Yifu was extremely friendly and went out of her way to take us on a little tour of the farm. Toilets and shower facilities were extremely clean. Location to CBR CBD was great.

This is our second time at this camping farm. The facilities are great and it's perfect for first-timers like us with kids. This time we happened to be here for Easter, and the farmer organized an egg hunt and prepared really generous gifts for the children! Such a thoughtful host. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience. The owner and his family are so kind and welcoming and we had very enjoyable conversations. He is so passionate about this particular site which we loved. No troubles with vehicle access. Great shower and bathroom facilities which are tidy and kept clean and well exceeded our expectations. Would definitely visit again.
