You are invited to camp on what was once a golf course, and always has been surrounded by natural bushland. Situated only 20 minutes from Canberra, we offer you the opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in a peaceful country experience. There are dams to camp near, and a beautiful nature reserve where you can take a peaceful walk. If you would like to have a wander and experience some untouched bushland, please ask and we can provide simple directions. Bird watching and wildlife observation is unavoidable, and we recommend downloading the ACT Field Guide app. Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by kangaroos and cockatoos. Suitable for Tents, Campers, Vans and Caravans, with good access for 2WD and caravans. Small campfires are permitted in designated areas, when restrictions aren't in place. You may use dead wood that you find on the golf course area as firewood. Please do not gather firewood from the nature reserve, for wildlife's sake. Pets are not permitted.The Hidden Fairway offers a variety of sites to choose from. Perch your site on a retired golf tee, or nestle in amongst the trees along the edge. Circle the wagons on open plains, or find the perfect spot in between. Suitable for Tents, Campers, Vans and Caravans. Nature reserve for walks. Occasionally we host private events at our event venue 600m up the hill. These events will not interfere with camping but can sometimes be loud until 11pm. If this is an issue for you please contact us prior to booking and check if an event is on. Please ring on arrival if it has been wet so we can find you a dry spot. The toilet block is the small green building amongst the pine trees. Please bring your own toilet paper.

The Hidden Fairway
Great camping spot close to Canberra (15-20min). Plenty of space. Nice dam. Clean toilets. Lots of kangaroos! Very quiet. Highly recommended.

The Hidden Fairway
Lovely quiet spot not far from Canberra. Felt a bit isolated as we never heard from or saw our Hipcamp host. Assumed we were at the right place!! Had no idea that we were supposed to be on an old “ Golf Course” Definitely a tight squeeze to get in if you are more than 14 metres long with combined tow vehicle & caravan.

Lots and lots of open space for many campers. Nice flat and level ground perfect for caravans, campers and tents. Easy access just off the Federal Highway and no road noise.
