What a fantastic spot!
Garth and Joanne are so lovely, they made sure we were in a great spot for our group and Away from the wind.
They looked after us with fire wood and kept checking we had enough.
The dogs had the best time running around and enjoying being free
We will 100% be back!!

Amazing spot. Such a nice view and we loved being able to have a fire on a cold winters night. Sunrise over the trees was also stunning. Host is very welcoming and their dogs are beautiful. Was a great space. Our dogs loved being there too. Thanks for having us

My second visit, Windawalla is a great place to camp, Garth is a fantastic host who can’t do enough for you.
Saw big Roos, and plenty of Deer.

We stayed for 2 nights at Windawalla. Garth, his 2 dogs and pet sheep welcomed us and showed us to our spot. Lovely view over the valley and sheltered as well.
Garth brought in some firewood for the firepit on site. Our dog loved having the freedom to run around as well. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Great place to stay in, lots of wombats around, super friendly hosts.
We arrived at night and left before sunrise, as we were just stopping to sleep on the way from Syd to the Snowy mountains on a tight schedule. Even if we arrived late, a super friendly and fun man welcomed us at that time and showed us to our spot.
He was very kind to turn off the big spot lights of their golf course but the power generator (or something like that that) remain on throughout the night. It didn’t bother us coz we were tired and the gen wasn’t very close. But we could still hear it.
I believe they probably have fabulous views but we couldn’t stay to confirm. Thanks for letting us stay at yours.

Greeted by Garth with a warm smile and an enthusiasm to build us a fire with our late afternoon arrival. The spot we had was easy to get to and yet secluded and we weren’t rushed out the next morning which made for a such nice end to our trip.
Highly recommended if you want to be hosted by friendly, helpful, chatty people and some lovely dogs with a few thousand stars above you as you sleep in tranquility.

Great place to stay. A few campers over the long weekend but still plenty of space. Great place to take dogs with hosts dogs there to keep your dogs in line around the farm chickens etc. Great views when you camp facing the Valley. 20 minutes from Goulburn making it handy for Coffee or access to toilets.

A Perfect Family Getaway

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our recent camping trip! The weather was perfect despite the forecast for rain, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our host, Garth, was incredibly friendly and active, making sure we had everything we needed from firewood to making sure we were comfortable in our location on the grounds. The open fire was a hit with the whole family, and the views were simply breathtaking.
The location offered a small dam with a perfect fishing spot where one of the kids caught their first fish, plenty of open space, and the added charm of a cheeky sheep, dogs, and chickens that made the experience. It’s truly a child-friendly haven where everyone can enjoy the outdoors. This trip has definitely moved to the top of our list amongst the top 3 camping spots we’ve visited.

Beautiful location, close to Goulburn but far enough away from the town to see the beautiful stars. The hosts are friendly and can never do enough for you. They helped start the fire for us and we had a great chat with them. We have told others of this place. It's worth the visit. We hope to come back again!

Our stay at Valley View was such a treat! We had a place to ourselves on top of the hill and the view was pretty spectacular. Garth and Joanne were such great hosts, and we couldn’t recommend this place enough. We plan to stay again on our way back north!

We loved staying at Windalwalla campsite. The property was beautiful. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Garth went the extra mile with building us a fire and giving us herbs for mosquito repellent to make us feel comfortable and we were very comfortable.

Camping at Windawalla was amazing. This time was my 2nd time back and myself and my 2 mates that came along a had an amazing time. The hosts are both very welcoming and friendly. They allow pets on their property as well which is even better if you enjoy bringing a dog along camping like we do.
Overall the weekend was great and will definitely be back again.

Lovely little spot, overlooking the hills. Open flat area with nice views, access and area was easy for our camper trailer setup. We stayed for one night, plenty of firewood around.
Hosts were friendly and helpful, dogs super friendly too! Would recommend.

Few great spots to unhitch and unwind. Great views out of the mountains and gullies, easy walk around and very friendly hosts.
Nothing like seeing sunrise on one side, and sunset on the other!!
Easy entrance and path to your hideaway.

Terrific property and very helpful owners, location is handy to both Goulburn and the Hume Hway, has stunning views even in the sheltered area. This is certainly a peaceful spot and a joy to visit.

We setup in a valley site down from the top of the hill
The view from here took our breath away, once the clouds lifted😀.
Very easy access good clear directions. We did not meet the owners as they were called away.
Would recon’s this camp for its ease of access and close proximity to all Goulburn has to offer
You must go and visit the big Merino, the war memorial, Cathedral and maybe a winery or three.

A great view with a number of options to choose from. If you’re driving in from Bungonia, be sure to go past the driveway and turn around. It’s too sharp for a van.

Absolutely amazing.
Garth was lovely and helped us with any needs we had.
The property is great, whether you wanna dissapear for a few days or stay close to the owners you have plenty of options.

Good place to stay - camping area is cleared & choices for shaded or open spaces to set up. Several places to get comfortable to watch the sun set or rise - even when the mist blocks a “perfect” sunrise, it is a lovely sight.
The host is entertaining & full of stories so take the time to chat. I’m not a golfer, but the version of an almost-putt-putt golf course looked like fun.
The bumblebee letter box is a successful locator for the property so don’t be side-tracked by other fun letter boxes.
