River View Cottage Camp - with loo!
We had a fabulous stay - this camp was the perfect place for a family catch up. Spectacular views, peace and privacy - absolutely perfect! Having the bathroom and kitchen amenities made it much easier as a group. Beautiful wineries close by for long lunches - it doesn’t get much better. Sarah was a lovely, friendly host and we look forward to returning.,

Gorgeous spot and so convenient to beautiful wineries as well as Canberra and Murrumbateman. Sarah was a wonderful host and the site had great views. Sarah also let us feed the sheep and their babies. Would love to come back!

River View Cottage Camp - with loo!
A great spot, well hosted by Sarah. There is a really flat spot for caravans, as well as plenty of other space to set up. We loved the ability to have privacy, but also have access to some proper amenities.
The small cottage on this site offers a toilet, kitchen for washing up, and a few places to sit and relax (both inside and out). The access to a real toilet is a pleasantry that we aren't used to.
There is virtually no reception at the cottage, but you'll find patches around the site and if you go for an explore. There is low speed wifi though, so if you don't have starlink you'll be fine.
My family loved heading down to the creek. It was a decent hike back up (same for the river), but lots of fun to go adventuring with a young family.
I'll be back, and have already recommended to friends. The site wasn't very windy, but seems like it could get a bit breezy if the weather pics up. But the view is spectacular.
Sarah met us at the gate on arrival and showed us to our site. A great host and a great site.
Beautiful, private campsite with amenities. Loved the views from the site and the ongoing chatter of birdlife. Wonderful walk to the river if you want to stretch your legs.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp
We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Burrendah farm. The views were beautiful, sunsets amazing and we were lucky enough to have a full moon to set the ambiance even further. Sarah was very accommodating and even offered to help when we were having few temporary mechanical issues. Her trusty Poppy farm dog was even friendly too. Thank you for a great time, we hope to come back again soon.

This was my second visit to Burrendah Farm. I camped at the fabulous Two Big Trees site the first time but tried the River View Cottage Camp this time around and it didn’t disappoint. Stunning views, fabulous walks and, above all, peaceful and private.
Wonderful Sarah met me at the gate and showed me the site. The original stone cottage was a bonus with use of the loo and it allowed me extra space to cook so I could leave the van closed against the cold.
I parked up near the cottage as it was flat and easy. I didn’t feel it detracted from the camping experience as the views from the van - front and back and out the sliding door - were all of the paddock, and stunning views of the river and mountains. I will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit to Burrendah Farm.🙏🏻

We absolutely loved our stay, the view was incredible. We had so much space at our camp for the dog to run on our extra long lead, Sarah was lovely. We will be back next time we come down again from Brissy😊

Our stay was greatly needed to escape and feel like your in the middle of no where but still close enough to town.
Sarah was very accomodating and even treated our kids with a little sheep feeding.
Very relaxing property with beautiful views especially whilst watching the sunset.

A gorgeous spot, absolutely spectacular views and fantastic facilities at the spot near the cottage, and we loved feeding the sheep and going for a ride on the buggy. Sarah was awesome!
We loved our stay on Sarah's property. Amazing views and a great morning walk down to the creek. Sarah is such a lovely person and super welcoming. The camp is close to Brindabella Hills winery which was amazing too :)
My partner and I visited Burrendah Farm Camp for two nights. Sarah was super lovely and accomodating and stopped to show us around which was amazing! The site was great, super private and the walk down to the river was beautiful, our four legged friend also enjoyed her stay. Can’t recommend the site enough :)

We enjoyed a great overnight stay at the Cottage campsite in our 8.5m caravan (including drawbar). The location is fantastic — close to Canberra, with beautiful views, wide open space, and a peaceful rural setting.
We ended up parking on the flat area beside the cottage. I did try positioning the van further down in the paddock, but the ground slope is around 6 degrees and my Tred levelling ramps weren’t enough to compensate. Smaller rigs or camper trailers may have more success there. Parking near the cottage did have some advantages though, particularly being close to the toilet facilities and WiFi. The only downside was the longer walk to the fire pit — a second fire pit closer to the cottage would be a great addition.
Our all-terrain van handled the access road without any issues, but standard touring caravans may find the final 50 metres a little challenging, particularly in wet conditions. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Wow! So pleased to have spent 3 nights on this beautiful property. Afternoon sunsets were amazing and we enjoyed the walk down to the river. Perfect location to explore the local area then to return back to the site for peace.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp
Two Big Trees was a wonderful, private site with 360 degree rural views. The sunsets were gorgeous. Sarah was lovely and made sure we were all good. If you like secluded sites, with nobody else anywhere in sight, surrounded by rolling green hills, then this is definitely the place to go. I have no doubt that we will be back.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp
We had such a beautiful and fun stay in our caravan by the two trees! Sarah and her family were lovely hosts and had lots of info to share with us about the area! The property surrounds and views were really nice, we took the buggy ride to the river which was so peaceful and the kids love exploring down there. It’s about half hour drive into Canberra to do some tourist stuff. We will definitely be back again to camp!
Loved this spot, very secluded and surrounded by beautiful mountain views and farm animals 💫 When we read the reviews initially, we had some concerns about getting down to the site, but we made it down completely fine in a 2wd. It was an easy drive. My favourite part was seeing all the sheep come down and drink from the dam. We will definitely be back! ❤️ Thanks to Sarah for being a great host 😊

Beautiful outlook, amazing bird and wildlife on a private site. Walk down to the Murrumbidgee River for a dip. Drinks on the cottage verandah in the afternoon watching rainbow bee eaters flit around. We’ll be back!

Stayed in my campervan on Sarah’s property at the ‘Two Big Trees’ campsite. Absolutely beautiful space to spend time with amazing views and a great sense of peace and stillness at the site. As a lone female camper I felt comfortable and safe and will definitely return. I didn’t want to park under the large tree - which seemed to be the flattest space. But just beyond that, I managed to level the van easily with some rear wheel ramps. Well worth a visit and highly recommended 🙏🏻

Sarah provides a beautiful campsite with amazing views. What we loved is it is only 35mins to the city of Canberra. We highly recommend the walk to the river. Wonderful hosts and an amazing stay.

Absolutely stunning views of the Brindabella range with an unbelievable sunset. Sarah was a great host who met us on entry and shared some information about the property. There was tank water available but we did not need to use it.

Sarah is a great hostess and the Two Trees site has great views across the Namadgi, sheep in the adjacent paddocks and feels secluded even though just a short stroll from the main property. Definitely recommend staying here.
