200 acres of beautiful farmland overlooking the mighty Murrumbidgee River (no fishing). Enjoy a campsite overlooking the stunning Brindabellas, a small spot next to the dam, if you bring your 4WD, or a fabulous site next to the old cottage that comes complete with a flushing loo! Our beautiful border collie, Poppy, will naturally want to come say hi no matter which site you pick. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, so please keep them on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. All campers must have their own supplies and be self sufficient as we do not supply any amenities: you will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet, shower and water. Please do not dig a toilet hole, even though you leave it covered, it doesn't take long for the foxes to dig it up!! There is mobile reception. No shooting, archery, fishing or hunting. Camper trailers and caravans are welcome but can only stay at the easily accessible camp site. River access technically possible. Please call in advance of booking if you’d like this to be a part of your stay.

*Please Note* dam is a little lower at the moment but still pretty! ---- A wonderfully secluded site by the dam suitable for 4WD (or can be walked to fairly easily). It is a real joy to sit by the fire at night and overlook the water and the Brindabellas. This site is only big enough for 1 tent. The sheep may come and visit at night! Please note: there is no mobile reception at this site. For adequate reception for phone calls/texts, you will need to book at the Two Big Trees Campsite. For OK reception to watch a bit more of that Netflix show, you will find a good spot along the property's main road.

Enjoy a beautiful grassy field under the shade of the Two Big Trees and overlooking the Brindabellas. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. This large, highly accessible site is just off the dirt road. Expect a little bit of traffic in the morning and afternoon as our family heads to town, but otherwise, you will have the place to yourself! River access technically possible. Please call in advance of booking if you’d like this to be a part of your stay.

River View Cottage Camp - with loo!

This site offers spectacular views of the Murrumbidgee River. Free wifi. You will also have access to a FLUSHING TOILET (yippee!) and perfectly level ground if you choose to set up camp adjacent to the worker's cottage. Alternatively, there is a large open field that will require a trailer/camper that can be levelled as the ground is sloping. The Worker's Cottage is the location of the loo and sink and kitchen prep area. Please note that we do not allow people to sleep in the cottage - it is NOT accommodation. You will love this spot if you have doggos that want a big open space to run without getting distracted by the sheep. There is phone reception for calls (with Telstra) but normally not enough for internet. River access technically possible. Please call in advance of booking if you’d like this to be a part of your stay. You shouldn't choose this spot if you are looking for a 'real' outback camping experience as it is situated next to the worker's cottage and close to the shearing shed (so it doesn't feel as remote). You also shouldn't choose this spot if you have a lovely new car with low clearance as the track is a bit bumpy (please check out the pics). There is a fire pit at the bottom of the clearing that will suit you if you have a camper that can be levelled (about 6 degree slope). There is a second smaller fire pit at the bottom of the turning circle which is closer to you if you choose that beautifully level spot next to the cottage. If weather is poor, you can also use the fireplace in the cottage. Lots of options to keep you toasty warm during cold Canberra winters :) A reminder that you are NOT booking the cottage as accommodation, you are booking the adjacent campsite.

My partner and I visited Burrendah Farm Camp for two nights. Sarah was super lovely and accomodating and stopped to show us around which was amazing! The site was great, super private and the walk down to the river was beautiful, our four legged friend also enjoyed her stay. Can’t recommend the site enough :)

River View Cottage Camp - with loo!
We enjoyed a great overnight stay at the Cottage campsite in our 8.5m caravan (including drawbar). The location is fantastic — close to Canberra, with beautiful views, wide open space, and a peaceful rural setting. We ended up parking on the flat area beside the cottage. I did try positioning the van further down in the paddock, but the ground slope is around 6 degrees and my Tred levelling ramps weren’t enough to compensate. Smaller rigs or camper trailers may have more success there. Parking near the cottage did have some advantages though, particularly being close to the toilet facilities and WiFi. The only downside was the longer walk to the fire pit — a second fire pit closer to the cottage would be a great addition. Our all-terrain van handled the access road without any issues, but standard touring caravans may find the final 50 metres a little challenging, particularly in wet conditions. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Wow! So pleased to have spent 3 nights on this beautiful property. Afternoon sunsets were amazing and we enjoyed the walk down to the river. Perfect location to explore the local area then to return back to the site for peace.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp
Two Big Trees was a wonderful, private site with 360 degree rural views. The sunsets were gorgeous. Sarah was lovely and made sure we were all good. If you like secluded sites, with nobody else anywhere in sight, surrounded by rolling green hills, then this is definitely the place to go. I have no doubt that we will be back.

Two Big Trees - Accessible Camp
We had such a beautiful and fun stay in our caravan by the two trees! Sarah and her family were lovely hosts and had lots of info to share with us about the area! The property surrounds and views were really nice, we took the buggy ride to the river which was so peaceful and the kids love exploring down there. It’s about half hour drive into Canberra to do some tourist stuff. We will definitely be back again to camp!

Dam Paddock Tranquil Site
Loved this spot, very secluded and surrounded by beautiful mountain views and farm animals 💫 When we read the reviews initially, we had some concerns about getting down to the site, but we made it down completely fine in a 2wd. It was an easy drive. My favourite part was seeing all the sheep come down and drink from the dam. We will definitely be back! ❤️ Thanks to Sarah for being a great host 😊

Beautiful outlook, amazing bird and wildlife on a private site. Walk down to the Murrumbidgee River for a dip. Drinks on the cottage verandah in the afternoon watching rainbow bee eaters flit around. We’ll be back!

Stayed in my campervan on Sarah’s property at the ‘Two Big Trees’ campsite. Absolutely beautiful space to spend time with amazing views and a great sense of peace and stillness at the site. As a lone female camper I felt comfortable and safe and will definitely return. I didn’t want to park under the large tree - which seemed to be the flattest space. But just beyond that, I managed to level the van easily with some rear wheel ramps. Well worth a visit and highly recommended 🙏🏻

Absolutely stunning views of the Brindabella range with an unbelievable sunset. Sarah was a great host who met us on entry and shared some information about the property. There was tank water available but we did not need to use it.

Sarah is a great hostess and the Two Trees site has great views across the Namadgi, sheep in the adjacent paddocks and feels secluded even though just a short stroll from the main property. Definitely recommend staying here.

What can I say. Me, three kids and a dog stayed here for a a week or so, in the Two Trees Campsite. Unbelievably beautiful. My favourite time of day was going for an off lead walk down to the dam with my furry girl and enjoying the space and peace. The campsite was relatively flat and there was heaps of space for my boys to run around and play. Sarah and her family were star hosts, letting the kids fees the sheep, taking us to the river and the creek, picking blackberries. We used it as a base to travel into Canberra, to super easy to get in and out. Would 100% recommend.

Loved the fantastic wide views across the valley, particularly enjoyed the mornings and late afternoons listening to the kookaburras and watching the colours of the hills change. The (10 year old) kids really enjoyed feeding the sheep, spending some time at the river and generally slowing down and roaming around enjoying the space in this peaceful setting. Sarah was a great host and couldn't be more accommodating. A great launchpad for exploring the area and Canberra, highly recommended.

Just what we like. All by ourselves and the sheep that looked at us from the paddock nearby. Great spot for our dog too. Unfortunately it was just a quick stop-over so we didn’t have time to go exploring at the river. Something we would normally do. Plus Sarah was a great host.

Sarah, the gracious host met us at the entrance and made us feel comfortable. The paddock we were allocated had a beautiful view of the Rowley Hills of Canberra, and by Moonlight was divine.

Not sure to call this place. A farm, mountain or… anyway. A beautiful view with a river a total nature which feels like far from civilisation (unbelievable it’s inly 30 minute driving distance from Canberra CBD). Sarah is nice and kind. Everything was good.

We had such a lovely stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful with serene, wide-open views that make you instantly relax. It’s peaceful, well-kept, and a perfect spot to unwind after a big day. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous view, perfect for an overnighter with my kids. Sunset was beautiful. Had water at the site, even though we’d brought our own, and Sarah was great. Very welcoming and even took us around the farm in their 4x4. Kids loved it, slept like a log and would highly recommended for an overnight stay.

We had such a beautiful stay at Burrendah at two tree camp site. Sarah was lovely meeting us at the gate on arrival. The property and views were stunning. An easy 25-30 minute drive from Canberra it was the perfect balance of busy tourist days and relaxed country evenings. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 4!
