We're a 5 minute drive from the quaint township of Cobargo, 15 minutes to Bermagui and 20 minutes to the coastline and pristine beaches. Our property overlooks the beautiful Wandella Valley.

There's plenty of interesting history and walks to explore close by. Wadbilliga National Park is a 985.3 km² national park that is located in high country spanning the Monaro and South Coast regions of south-eastern New South Wales, Australia.

Easy parking for your RV overlooking the beautiful Wandella Valley. The camp area is grassed, level and great place to relax. 

We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. You must have your own amenities.

The campsite is 2WD accessible and has enough space for your caravan, campervan or camper trailer. 

Fresh fruit and free range eggs sometimes available so check with us to see what produce is available during your stay.

Michelago Farm Camping

Large open paddock with easy access from Monaro Highway, great for camping with amazing views of the mountains. 

The access road is good quality dirt road. Ok for caravans. 

Dog friendly (must be well behaved around our animals and not chase them). We have Alpacas in our camping paddocks so your dog must be kept under control at all times.

We have a composting toilet available for campers to use.

Mobile phone reception in the area is around 3-4 bars 4G on Optus and 3-4 bars 3G on Telstra.

Please bring your own wood for camp fires or you can purchase a barrow of bush wood from us in the extras. We prefer you not to collect your own wood (other than starter sticks/branches) as we are trying to maintain logs, branches, ground cover on the ground for native birds, lizards, etc.

Private outdoor yoga sessions are available if booked in advance or you can book into the local classes on Thursday nights.

All camp fees are being used to rehabilitate our property with plants that are native to our area and restore the land.

Michelago HILLDYKE 160 yr old farm

**Please let me know if you are bringing a caravan, I can only accomodate caravans at certain sites with the weather**

Our property is just 25 minutes from Canberra City but feels a world away, and offers a peaceful country paradise and wide open spaces.

We have several sites for 100% self-contained campers, where you'll be spoilt with

spectacular

views of the Tinderry Mountains, access to undulating walking trails,

and the Namadgi National Park nearby. On clear nights,

the stars here are spellbinding.

We have many animals here too!

View our placid Scottish Galloway cattle (currently with calves!) pat our friendly poddy Cody and grab a photo opportunity.

We also have a beautiful horse Ali and her yearling colt diesel, just watch your fingers with him, gelded now but still thinks he’s a stallion.

 5 fat Dorper sheep look like running rugs running around. A real country experience!

An Angora goat and slashed tracks to access the beautiful 130 acres around the farm.

The small village of Michelago is 5km from our property, has the fuel servo and a terrific General Store, which serves great burgers and milkshakes plus much more. 20mins to the town of Bredbo with its own pub is great for counter lunches and dinners. 

The Town of Cooma, the gateway to the Snowy mountains is a 40 min drive south. 

Also if you want to go camping with friends and introduce them to the great outdoors and they don’t have the gear ask about our hire service of all things needed to have a great camp, some are listed but more is always available to hire, just send me a message.

Kallarroo Farm, nr Nimmitabel

Kallarroo Farm is located near Nimmitabel outside of Cooma, New South Wales.

Set near the Numeralla River, between two national parks, a short distance to the famous and beautiful Snowy Mountains.

With 1000 acres of rolling country - including native forest, park-like grazing land, and three kilometers of Numeralla River frontage - there's a lot to do at Kallarroo!

Stay in rural comfort in our rustic and secluded log cabin with sweeping, views down the valley and mountain property, or set up camp at our peaceful, private camping site, where you'll enjoy river views from gently sloping grassland on the boundary of the property.

Either option will provide a real taste of traditional Australian farm life and allow you to explore our majestic Snowy Mountain landscape.

We take great pride in being a pet-friendly accommodation! To cover the additional cleaning and maintenance required for accommodating pets, we have a pet surcharge of $50 AUD per dog per stay.

Millwood Cottage

Millwood is located 6kms from COOMA n.s.w. in the Snowy Mountains Region and is within easy reach to a number of great locations. We are just 90 minutes from Canberra, just over an hour from Perisher and the snowfields and 1.5 hours from all the beautiful beaches that the South Coast has to offer.

With only one camp site available you will have plenty of space and privacy. We also offer an RV site. You can relax around your firepit and enjoy watching the beautiful wildlife that come to visit the property including Kangaroos, Wombats and a variety of native birds.

The host runs a Day Spa from her home so you may like to treat yourself to some self care. Please check with host as to availability of Spa Treatments.

Why not check out our outdoor clawfoot bath during your stay. It's an amazing experience under the stars!

Tank water is available but please use sparingly.  The surrounding area is hugely popular for cyclists and bushwalkers with many great tracks available to explore. The Murrumbidgee River is 2 klms away, where you can enjoy a picnic along it's banks and take a dip if it's warm enough.

We accept campers who are fully self contained with their own toilet. Campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. 

No pets please as we have animals here.

The famous Murrumbidgee River is a 3 klm drive away - Great for a swim or picnic.


Kybeyan  Retreat

Pitch your tent or park your campertrailer in the native bushland with the pristine Numeralla River as your boundary fence.  This 3000 acre property is located close to Nimmitabel and not too far from Cooma.

Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife.  Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding,  water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other. 

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP .

There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking.

You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing.  Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks.   Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing.

Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp.

Kids aged 16 and under camp for free. 

There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats. 

Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock.   Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below.     Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create.   We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline.

There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel,  or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away.   Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area. 

I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.
