Friendly hosts. Campsite is fantastic. Quiet. Animals roam freely. Fire pit is top notch and perfect for cooking on. Highly recommend. We don’t have a campervan and used a swag and brought our own portable toilet.

Lovely spot with great country vistas, campsite was quite level and very well maintained, easy access in and out of property, plenty of firewood around, lots of wild life around including friendly horses that visited every afternoon. Flies can be excessive in summer months, take fly swats and some aeroguard.

We stayed in our caravan for 3 days. It was very peaceful. At sunset we saw deer, kangaroos and had a visit from 3 horses. It’s a short drive to Jindabyne and Mt Kosciusko. We went for a walk thru the bush to find the creek. Which is lovely. But initially was hard to find from where we were camped. Discovered if you walk past one of the two cabins you’ll find a very nicely mown pathway with a bush swing along the way and the last little bit is along animal tracks, so wear covered shoes.

This spot is a peaceful little gem overlooking a lovely valley. The campsite is flat, tidy, and easy to access in a 2WD — even a caravan would manage fine. There’s plenty of wood for the fire and space to unwind. The two tiny homes on the property look beautiful, each with its own fire pit and big chairs perfect for watching the sunset. The river isn’t right beside camp but close enough for a pleasant wander — proper shoes are best, as the track is a little hilly. I even spotted deer grazing near the water. A calm, well-kept, nature-filled stay.

Big Yard Escapes - Camp
This is the perfect spot to get away from it all, with wildlife, a beautiful river to fish in and explore, and just a short drive into town.
Craig is a great host, welcoming us on arrival, then leaving us to ourselves.
We’ll be back!

Nice spot to relax in nature. We didnt spend much time on the property but it was nice to relax in the bush with the stars. The place is private and far enough away from the other cabins we didnt feel disturbed at all

The site was easy to find following the hosts instructions, great views watching the sun go down and sun rise. The drive in to town is very quick as well. Would recommend staying here
