Enjoy a peaceful getaway surrounded by mighty gum trees on my property adjoining the Mowamba River in the Snowy Mountains. See wild deer and wallabies, gaze at starry night skies and relax beside your own camp fire. There's great trout fishing in the river and postcard rural views. Experience silence that never sounded so good. Kick back, slow down and relax close to the ski fields of Thredbo and Perisher and the hiking trails of the Kosciuszko National Park.I have one camp site on my property and access to my property is via a good quality gravel road. The site is opposite the old tractor. You will see the site on the left hand side with a small camp sign to show you the site. I am only set up for self sufficient caravans with your own toilet.

I have one camp site on my property and access to my property is via a good quality gravel road. The site is opposite the old tractor. You will see the site on the left hand side with a small camp sign to show you the site. I am only set up for self sufficient caravans with your own toilet.

A lovely spot and a peaceful valley

This spot is a peaceful little gem overlooking a lovely valley. The campsite is flat, tidy, and easy to access in a 2WD — even a caravan would manage fine. There’s plenty of wood for the fire and space to unwind. The two tiny homes on the property look beautiful, each with its own fire pit and big chairs perfect for watching the sunset. The river isn’t right beside camp but close enough for a pleasant wander — proper shoes are best, as the track is a little hilly. I even spotted deer grazing near the water. A calm, well-kept, nature-filled stay.

Big Yard Escapes - Camp
This is the perfect spot to get away from it all, with wildlife, a beautiful river to fish in and explore, and just a short drive into town. Craig is a great host, welcoming us on arrival, then leaving us to ourselves. We’ll be back!

Nice spot to relax in nature. We didnt spend much time on the property but it was nice to relax in the bush with the stars. The place is private and far enough away from the other cabins we didnt feel disturbed at all

The site was easy to find following the hosts instructions, great views watching the sun go down and sun rise. The drive in to town is very quick as well. Would recommend staying here
