We have 40 beautiful acres on The Snowy River Way in Jindabyne with several large, private sites. Groups are welcome to have their own spot together and each site has a fire pit. We are only 10 minutes from Lake Jindabyne – turn left to head up to the mountains (a further 30 minutes to Thredbo or Perisher) or right to explore Jindabyne township and its boutiques, breweries, cafes and cinema. Stop in at The Station Resort on the way back from the mountains, just five minutes away for a nice feed and game of pool (during winter). Our property is on a hill with a dam midway up if you’re looking for a nice walk. Do a loop for spectacular views! Come and enjoy the beautiful outlook and natural wildlife. Rest in peace and privacy or get out to enjoy all the Snowy Mountains has to offer. Whether you come for snow sports, water sports, biking, hiking, yoga or reading – adventure and relaxation awaits. Access to all sites is via a tree-lined driveway. To get to the western paddock and Sunset, Pine View and Hilltop sites, the turn off the drive to get through the fence means that small to medium setups are suitable. To get to the eastern paddock and Sunrise and Birch Grove sites, the turn off the driveway is a bit wider to allow for larger setups. Please check the details for size recommendations – the maximum sizes listed are for your total setup, including your car and anything towed. The sites at the bottom of the property closest to the road have easy access and more protection in windy weather, but if you have a 4WD and are wanting to sit and enjoy the 360 degree rural views then head up the hill to our Hilltop site. We can supply firewood, kindling and fire starters for a small fee, just message us in advance, or you can BYO. Strictly no foraging for wood from the property please. There’s also no power hookups, taps or toilets so it's fully self-sufficient camping. For the peace of other campers, we don't allow generators or pets, sorry. This site is on the western side of the property and perfect to enjoy a large campfire, afternoon sun, and amazing views with snow-capped mountains in winter. Vehicles may be passing to get to other campsites but guests will have approximately 500sqm of grassy space to set up on and a few acres of land to enjoy in peace and privacy. ** Please note that the maximum overall length per setup is recommended as 10 metres or less – that includes your vehicle and anything towed.

This site has spectacular views from the top of Harros Hill. It is the most exposed site when the wind picks up, and it's recommended to have a 4WD to climb the steep, gravel path up the hill – but the views are worth it!! Access is not too tricky, long or dangerous – it just helps to have a capable car – especially if it's wet and slippery or you're towing something. Heavy loads not recommended.

Access to this site is by turning left off the drive, crossing a grassy field and dry gully to camp on the paddock on the eastern side of the property. Birch trees frame the site and give full privacy for you to enjoy sunrise vistas and a few acres of space.

Camp near the row of pines on the western boundary with a beautiful outlook looking across to snow capped mountains in winter. This campsite is easily accessible with a large, gently sloping grass area and full privacy. There is a dry gully and large empty dam bordering the site – neither will fill with water again unfortunately because the water has been diverted upstream but it means kids are safe to explore!

We love to camping at Sunset. Kids love to explore the area, walking up the hill looking for rabitts. We really enjoy stay there, by the fire at night, watch the stars, Peace and quiet. Definitely would go back in the future.

Harros Hill is our go-to place whenever we're heading to the snow. Perfectly located in Jindabyne, it's an easy drive to both Perisher and Thredbo, making it an ideal base for a mountain getaway. This time we tried out the Sunset camping spot. We were lucky enough to enjoy incredible weather during our stay, and the afternoon views were absolutely stunning. It's called Sunset Spot for a reason, the sunsets here are breathtaking. The campsite itself is nice and flat, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Mel and Greg are incredibly accommodating and genuinely lovely, making us feel so welcome. We loved relaxing around the fire pit in the evening, and having the table and chairs already there was such a convenient touch. Just when we thought the sunset couldn't be topped, nighttime arrived. The stars were next level. With virtually no light pollution, we could see what felt like the entire galaxy stretched across the sky. It was one of the most spectacular night skies we've experienced. A peaceful, well-equipped campsite with amazing hosts, unforgettable sunsets, and incredible stargazing. We'll definitely be back.

The veiw of the mountains here is incredible. Only 40 mins to the slopes and 15min to Jindy. The hosts were amazing providing a nice bundle of firewood daily for a small fee because I didn’t have time to get my own while snowboarding all day. Very much appreciated.

A great location / easy drive to Thredbo & Perisher. On 15 minutes to Jindabyne. We loved our three night stay. Enjoyed a camp fire each night. Mel and Greg were lovely. Very accommodating. Would def stay here again and recommend to family / friends

Camping at Hilltop is such an amazing spot. Beautiful views with great, accommodating hosts. Wonderful, peaceful location, short drive to the shops and not too far from the mountain. Worked perfectly for our yearly snow trip. Absolutely the nicest people, would 100% recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient location.

Such a nice sunset view. Actually really not far from Perisher such like 20mins by drive. We decided stay for 2 nights. Our first night such a perfect day cold and quite in private farm. The second day unfortunately we had a camp setup later on the weather was too crazy windy and bad weather conditions. We decided to pack up and leave. If we have opportunity for sure will back it again. Such a lovely place for camp

I could literally not recommend camping here more, beautiful scenery and amazing atmosphere. Mel and Greg are 2 of the loveliest people I’ve ever met, helping us when my car got bogged and assisting us so kindly and putting up with our inexperience 😅. If you want to camp while visiting the ski slopes, or simply just stay at a beautiful peaceful place this is 1000% the spot to go. If i could leave a tip I would.

Amazing campsite! The hosts were fantastic, the facilities spotless, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Camping in a field surrounded by kangaroos was such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

We loved sunrise. The wildlife was a real treat and the stars were spectacular. Loved the warmth of the campfire especially as it was a cool night (thanks Greg for fixing us up with firewood). Thanks Greg and Mel for being such great hosts and allowing us to stay at your beautiful property. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for three nights at the Sunset camp. It was just beautiful. The campsite was very protected and there is a lovely view across the paddocks to the Snowy Mountains. The campsite was pristine and the fireplace was well positioned for a campfire. The entry to the paddock was tight with a 21’ caravan so we took it slow and were fine to get in. Greg was great and made sure that we had enough firewood for our stay.
