Kallarroo is located near Nimmitabel, outside of Cooma, NSW, set near the beautiful Numeralla River and between two national parks, just a short distance from the famous Snowy Mountains. The campsite offers total privacy as it is available for one group at a time. It is best accessed by 4WD, though it's not essential. You'll enjoy stunning river views from gently sloping grassland on the boundary of the property. Please note, we have a fence to stop the neighbour's cows from coming to the campsite (feel free to cross it and go wild), but there is free access to the water at the beginning of the campsite. Please be aware that the entry to the campsite is a bit hilly and may be tricky when very wet. It's always a good idea to check the conditions with the host before arrival to ensure safe access. This site has no amenities and no power, so campers must be self-contained or comfortable with our 'shovel and a toilet seat' bush loo! There is a fire pit at the site with plenty of firewood available to collect from the surrounding area. With 1000 acres of rolling country—including native forest, park-like grazing land, and three kilometers of Numeralla River frontage—there's plenty to explore at Kallarroo. Pets are welcome, and it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature!
