We loved camping here the amenities were very clean and had lots of space to set up without feeling too close to other campers. Dam wasn’t swimable but that must’ve just come down to the time of year

Lovely open space. Really great with my dog, still had phone reception, felt private but not totally isolated. Would come back!

Great clearing for camping, the toilet and under cover area is a big plus. Sadly the weather wasn’t great for fishing so I’ll have to come back to get them trout haha

High Country Camping Back to Basics
The property is Midway between lake Jindabyne and lake Eucumbene.
The toilet wasn't easy to find (particularly when arriving at night time).
Also the advert stated you could wash in the dam, which was quite horrible, dirty, slimy and no way you could swim in this water.
The big negative is that it was $50.00 per night (+ admin fee to Hipcamp). This was very expensive for no facilities and in the middle of nowhere.

We loved this campsite, it was quiet, heaps or room to spread out, and some lovely tracks to walk around the property

Fantastic spot to camp. Really conveniently located between Eucumbene dam and lake Jindabyne and close to KNP. Days were spent paddling, fishing or hiking and coming back and enjoying the peace and quiet and amazing stars. Will be back!
