Winter Bookings now open!!! Caravan and Motorhome sites with POWER, WATER and WIFI. Pet friendly. Most with concrete slab and all with a fire pit. Campfires allowed during Autumn, Winter and Spring. Nestled on the gentle, rolling hills of The Snowy River Way, tucked away from the road, and only a short drive from town, it feels miles from anywhere. Our place is set amongst an abundance of beautiful, old Candlebark trees, granite boulders, native grasses and shrubs. The trees with their sculptural trunks and hollows provide homes and nests for many native birds and eagles. Our property has 500m of Mowamba River frontage where platypus and trout abound. Kangaroos, wallabies and fallow deer wander down at dusk to nibble on the grasses and sheep can be seen grazing on the hillside of a neighbouring farm Guests are able to enjoy glorious sunrises and sunsets, from an elevated, yet private position taking in the natural beauty. A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing or hiking holiday. Or just chill out and enjoy the serenity! We also now have 3 luxury chalets set high on the property. This site has a gorgeous view across the valley from it's elevated position. There is a concrete slab, firepit, water tap, power and Starlink wifi available. A small sloped grassy area is just below the site. This site is best suited for a motorhome or smaller caravan - with super easy set up. A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain-biking, fishing or hiking holiday. Please BYO firewood. Your motorhome or caravan must be self sufficient with its own toilet. Lovely afternoon sun. Access via gravel road. There is space for 1 caravan/ motorhome and parking for 1 vehicle. Competent reversing may be required (approx 50m) for initial positioning and set up of caravan or motorhome but is worth the effort! This site has a water tap, power, firepit and access to Starlink wifi and is very private. There is a grassy area up behind the site also. Access via gravel road. COMPETENT REVERSING IS REQUIRED for initial positioning and set up of caravan or motorhome but is worth the effort! A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain-biking, fishing or hiking holiday. Please BYO firewood. Your caravan or motorhome must be self sufficient with its own toilet. The Station Resort is just down the road if you need a good value meal (snow season only) and Jindabyne town is a 7 minute drive. Caravans or motorhomes ONLY. Thank you so much Sinikka and Justin. We had a lovely stay. The site is convenient, only a short drive to Jindabyne and about 20 mins to the skitube train and 30 min drive up the mountain (pending traffic). Our kids loved exploring the land, riding their bikes, wandering down to the river and finding animal bones and fossils. Access to power, water and somewhere to dump the toilet was great too!

Our family stayed at the “stay a while” site. The views were spectacular, the hosts were so informative and full of local knowledge. A lovely property with natural grounds, wildlife and a short drive to Jindabyne. The experience certainly makes you want to “stay a while”. Such a beautiful spot and I’d be more than inclined to come back, and to also stay in their cabins! 10/10 - super accommodating for families.

Lovely spot with a beautiful view of the valley and amazing sunrises. Sinikka and Justin were great hosts, very friendly and always willing to help. The property is away from the noise from the noise of Jindabyne, but not far if you want to go to the shops, restaurants and bars. Great for dogs (just be aware of animal remains) Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Jacarry Rocks in our hybrid camper. The concrete slabs, power and water connection were excellent and made for a comfortable stay. The sites were very private, surrounded by beautiful bushland, kangaroos and with stunning views. We will absolutely book to stay again when back in the Snowy Mountains.

Just wow - Sinikka and Justin’s beautiful property exceeded our expectations. Picturesque views, abundant wildlife and power/water/wifi/slab with a loop around road (easy access). We saw an echidna, multiple platypus, a wombat, possums, heaps of kangaroos and so many bird varieties including a hawk/eagle every day. All of these on the property and lots from our site. There’s 5 sites in total and it feels very private, spacious and relaxing. My children adored the chickens and gave them names! Sinikka met us on arrival and messages were always responded to promptly. We’re sad to have left after the best trip we’ve done in our caravan so far. Can’t wait to come back to see how the landscape changes in different seasons. There’s new cabins that look lovely too. Town is super close but we only went in for essentials because we were so content at the property.

We had such a great time at Justin and Sinikka's property. The river was lovely, we saw heaps of deer (the big bucks were amazing to look at) we also saw a woman and an echidna. Definitely recommend 🙂

Awesome private sites suitable for caravans, with power and water. Beautiful vista, with lovely natural bush setting with an array of wildlife. Great for family’s and pet friendly. Close to Jindabyne and only 30min drive to Thredbo. The hosts were very accommodating and very friendly.

Awesome little spot for a quiet break or a good home base for the mountains, hosts are lovely and the sites are easy to get in and out from and very well setup. Had a great time coming home in the afternoon from a day in the snow and winding down around the fire. A bonus was the power, water and wifi, but the best part was the site attendant peacock coming around to check on everyone.
