Swan Farm is a scenic, relaxing and peaceful spot to stay. We had a lovely spot by the creek bed where we could enjoy the views surrounded by hills and farm views. This is a great place to stay with short drives into Canberra or Cooma. Carly was a fabulous host!

Well, you leave home to go away from home (duh !) but when you experience the welcome and friendliness of Carly and Andrew at Swan Farm, you still feel at home !.
Easy to find, friendly cows, great site, great views to the mountains and Jack and Diane will charm your socks off.
The land itself ? - flat, big, easy to peg into and as the description says, be self-contained and take all your rubbish out.

Willow Campsite
This is a great little spot just off the highway for a wonderfully private overnight stay. Plenty of room for my dogs to run around and lovely and quiet and dark for a great nights sleep. It has a petrol station right nearby which was open on New Year’s Day luckily for us. Communication with the host was great and definitely go by the instructions that the owner gives you as GPS sent us the wrong way! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great spot right off the highway.
Host is amazing, good communication, friendly and inviting. We felt like family friends stopping by.
Good flat spot and was still private and quiet enough to feel like you had your own space.
Price was also really good for a family just wanting a basic and quick overnight stop.

We enjoyed a peaceful camp on the banks of a small creek. The 360 degree views were simply stunning. The ground was level, we had isolation, plenty of sunlight for solar charging and an excellent fire pit to sit around and cook a meal over.
Our host was prompt in replying, extremely welcoming and suggested walks around her beautiful property, which were well worth doing. Although one can see the distant traffic on the Monaro Highway, it is not noisy at all.
It is close to the tiny hamlet of Michelago for coffee and basic supplies.

We had a great stay very private lots of space to yourself, the hosts were so accommodating and friendly thank you so much for the wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend!

We headed from Sydney to the snow and used this as a 1 night stopover, my kids can’t make it all the way in one go after /work school etc.
Great level site , didn't even need to un hook the caravan, plenty of room (our van 25ft) and just off the highway so doesn't add any travel time at all .
Will stop here again next snow trip.
Only down side is a little bit of highway road noise but really minor after dark.

We loved this place! Such friendly hosts, who brought us firewood and gave us a map so that we could wander up the hill (incredible views!) for a hike. When booking, Carly was very honest about the fact that you could see the service station on the main road from the site, off in the distance. This didn't bother us - we just faced our van in the opposite direction looking towards the hills. Very private site and great sun for our solar panels. Thank you!
