Once your booking has been placed, if you do not hear from me within ten minutes, please give me a ring on the provided phone number.  Please note: The road is a dirt road, please check local weather prior to arrival, ground may be soggy if it's been raining recently.  When it rains, some of the areas may get muddy. Please reach out to Host with any questions about this.  There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's. There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season. A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime. The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened. Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by. The farm does have orchards and bee hives. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know. The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer. Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed. We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 3 are located in the creek paddock and 1 in the Orchard. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The property is most suited to 4WD, high clearance vehicles, and off-road campers. Caravans and motorhomes will find it difficult to reach most areas to camp. Children under 12 stay free! Please still add children to the booking (you will not be charged) so we can keep on top of guest numbers. You're welcome to bring your furry four-legged friends along to camp too, but please ensure they do not hassle the livestock or travel across the creek, we have neighbouring properties all around us. Please feel free to swim in the creek wherever you please and you are most welcome to walk up the creek to adventure. There are some beautiful secluded spots and swimming holes, but please do not cross the creek, our neighbours like their privacy. Pitch your tent or drive in your camper van in a secluded area with lots of trees and natural environment where birds can wake you with their morning songs A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish. Once your booking has been placed, if you do not hear from me within ten minutes, please give me a ring on the provided phone number.  Please note: The road is a dirt road, please check local weather prior to arrival, ground may be soggy if it's been raining recently.  When it rains, some of the areas may get muddy. Please reach out to Host with any questions about this.  There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's. There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season. The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened. Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by. The farm does have orchards and bee hives. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know. The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer. Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed. We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. 3 nights at Burringbar Camping - The Haven

Stayed for 3 nights at Kates property and it was great. We had the area to ourselves and stayed in front of the bamboo area facing the road so we got full max of the sun for our solar. Was not an issue facing the road side at all. Welcomed on arrival by Kates husband (sorry, forgot his name). Like others have mentioned, firewood & firepit supplied and even down to fire starters! Communication with Kate was excellent. 40 minute drive to Tweed Heads so location is pretty good. Will definitely be back if we need a getaway from the Gold Coast or see another show in Tweed Heads.

This little tin shack is like going back in time to stay in a timber-getter's lodge. It is full of rustic charm and nestled at the foot of hills, beside and (importantly) in the shade of a stand of large beautiful camphor laurels, with a small creek running below. It really is camping without the tent, but has everything you need in the way of a solar shower, long-drop loo, tanks of water, solar lights and a small fan, gas cooker and large bbq, outdoor firepit, and even a fire-heated outdoor bath to enjoy under the stars, or in our case, a full moon. The deck is large and comfortable with chairs and a hammock which we spent a lot of time in, and the solar nights that come on at night make for a lovely vibe. The wind in the trees and the sound of the wind chime was so lovely to hear and fall asleep to at night, and the cool night's in the comfortable beds made for great sleeps. Being a tin shack, it does get quite hot especially late morning/midday, but we found shade under the camphor's and loved watching the cows come up close. The creek was really low when we were there as there hasn't been much rain, but it would be so beautiful when flowing in rainy months. Whian Whian Falls is less than 10 minutes away for a lovely swim to cool of, and we dined at the Channon Pub too which is recommended. The kids (3 and 1) loved the space to explore, cows to watch, creek and bath to splash in, and fireside hangs. Peter was such an amazing, responsive, friendly, and kind host.

Weekend Trip to The Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate

We loved our stay at Sleepy Hollow Manor! The property is incredibly peaceful, and waking up to cows grazing right outside the van was such a cool experience. The location is perfect too, so close to Pottsville Beach and an easy drive to Byron. We had an unexpected issue with our van and had to leave it on the property while waiting for a tow truck. Tom was amazingly accommodating the whole time, with great communication and a genuinely helpful attitude. Couldn’t recommend this spot more. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿🚐🐄

My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had the most peaceful, relaxing stay on Peter and Tania's property. Relaxing on the deck and watching the cows graize in the lush, rolling hills was so serene. Cooling off in the nearby creek, watching our dogs play was so special. Thank you to Peter for meeting us and showing us the way. Definitely need a 4wd. We would love to come back again.

What an amazing place and vibe! Greg is a very welcoming and helpful host, and his farm is absolutely gorgeous. Each of the tent sites is beautiful and has lots of space. I stayed at the Fig tree campsite, which was pretty and had a swing. The nearby creek is amazing to go for a cool-down dip. The amenities are basic but all you need, it’s exactly as shown in the pictures! Hope to return someday. :)

"The Island" is beautiful spot surrounded by a nice strech of the creek. The kids had a great time playing and exploring. A peaceful and quiet spot very close to Tweed Heads, although we didn't encounter another person the entire weekend, just how we like it! We'd go back here again for the tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended for a short stay.
