Eltham Station Farm Stay – Peaceful Riverside Camping in the Northern Rivers Firewood is sold here aswell upon message request. Welcome to Eltham Station Campground, a quiet and scenic riverside retreat set along the Wilson River in the heart of the Northern Rivers. Nestled just 2km from the vibrant village of Eltham, our campground offers a peaceful, nature-filled escape with easy access to nearby destinations like Bangalow (10 mins), Clunes (a few minutes’ drive), and Byron Bay (just 35km away). Set on a private working farm, Eltham Station features 6 spacious camping sites, all-weather campsites spread along a quiet lagoon lined with large shade trees and native wildlife. The sites are well-spaced for privacy, with gravel pads, grassy areas for tents or swags, and designated fire rings (firewood available for purchase). All sites are accessible by 2WD and 4WD vehicles via a clearly marked gravel road. Rivercamp offers 60 free choice sites along the Wilson river among the cows 🤠 Campground Highlights: Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, tents, vans, and swags Private, spacious sites with shade and peaceful surroundings Campfire rings provided (subject to fire restrictions) Toilet amenity Abundant wildlife : including owls of different breeds , water dragons, birds, frogs and platypus. All pets welcome (please supervise near livestock) Exclusive group bookings and large farmhouse available on request. Just minutes away, the Eltham Pub is a local institution offering great meals, regular live music, and a free courtesy bus to and from the campground. For a beach day, you're only 20 minutes from Shelley Beach in Ballina, a local favourite with a great café for breakfast or lunch. Great little spot, conveniently located, heaps of room. We had a lovely 3 night stay. Lagoon site 1 is the largest and probably the most private of the Lagoon sites, but all of them looked good to us. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely come again if we're staying in the area.

We loved our stay at Eltham Station, beautiful setting camped by the creek, very doggy friendly, very well maintained and so close to be able to explore the surrounding area and pop over to the Eltham Hotel which is a fabulous pub and they do a delicious meal. This is our second stay and we will certainly be back.

Absolutely loved our stay! Such a beautiful, private and peaceful spot. The campsite was super clean, the wildlife and cute cows were a bonus, and the river made it even more special. The host was so welcoming and lovely. We’ll definitely be back — 11/10

We had an amazing stay at Eltham Station, our kids had the best time running around & seeing all the cows following the creek & exploring. Such a beautiful area & a huge thank you to Richard for letting us stay. Would recommend this to everyone, we can’t wait to come back again. Also very close to Eltham Hotel which is another great plus ☺️

A beautiful location, but $91 per night for 2 people in a motorhome is unjustifiable, when there is no power, water or rubbish facilities and only 1 portaloo way down the paddock. We booked because we were meeting family who had already booked there, but never again.

Really loved our stay at Eltham! The caretaker was incredibly friendly, we were the only two camping at the sites (so quiet and peaceful), my doggie swam in the lake, the sites were well maintained and each had it's own little fire pit + log! I have a 4WD, but my friend had a 2WD and we had no issues getting in + out! You are also very close to the pub, which is a must visit! We had no issues with buys or mozzies! Highly recommend!

We loved camping here, our dog enjoyed the freedom of running around and we felt very welcomed. We lit a fire and looked out for Platypus in the river and watched the stars. We cycled to the pub which was only 2 mins down the road. We will be back.

The site was very easy to find. It’s on an amazing plot of land with cows and next to a creek. The sunset was beautiful. The ground is quite flat and perfect for tents. There is a fire pit and a bathroom, which made it easy and enjoyable. Strongly recommend 🫶🏽🌺

The camping was fantastic. Such a beautiful site. Lush green grass, gorgeous creek, firepit. Highly recommend! We visited for a gig at the Eltham Hotel, courtesy bus came picked us up and dropped us back afterwards. A wonderful stay!
