The grass isn’t always greener on the other side … but it is especially verdant at Ike Kinswa State Park! You’ll find plenty of greenery at this forested park on the banks of Mayfield Lake. You’ll find plenty of blue, too, thanks to 46,000 feet of lakefront shoreline. That means water sports are especially popular here, so cmget your boating, swimming, and water skiing on! The pretty blue and green views also make Ike Kinswa the perfect picnic spot; there are over 50 prime picnic tables up for grabs. After your scenic lunch, try exploring the scenic hiking or biking trails in the park (you have to work off that hot dog somehow!). And don’t forget to bring your fishing pole; Mayfield Lake’s waters are practically swarming with trout, silvers, and tiger muskie. In the evening, retire to your campsite (it’s a short walk from the lake’s edge) and fall asleep with visions of green and blue swimming in your head.
